As for cars, I love cars. In a "that is awesome and I want that" kind of way. But not a "I can take that engine block and put it back together" sort of way. I think it's partly because I never had the money to get any of the cars I actually wanted. Even now! I just can't spend too much money on that, mentally. I'm driving my current car until it runs into the ground, and when I got it, it was more about affordability, gas mileage, and durability.
