I am an assault rifle kind of guy. I like the power, range and rate of fire you get with the AR's.

Assault rifle guy. but i am interested in the SMG as well as the infector.

Do we know anything about how good the DoTs are from the Infectors? Do we need to stack multiple shots for it to even be effective?

id have to play the game to see what the guns are like, but in RPG games i usually like snipers/pistols. while in FPS/TPS games i tend to like the balanced, heavy hitting guns, so, assault rifles. while in mmo's, i like sitting back and healing.

if there is a way to do all three, either by switching out weapons or whatnot, thats what i'll likely do.

Based on what I have seen, and my past experience with other shooters. I will probably pick a assault rifle with less spray and more bang. Though seeing how fast some of those things run at you I will definitely have to have something mean for those things that try to come too close, just not sure what that will be yet... smg maybe.

Assault Rifles are almost always my favorite weapon type. They're just good all around. But it isn't always that way. Sometimes I like shotguns the most, or LMGs, it just depends on the game and what the gun is like. Snipers, SMGs, and rockets I usually never like that much though. Unless they have some very unique feature. Borderlands comes to mind then.
But yeah, I plan on using mainly assault rifles, but that could always change if the weapons are unique enough.
