instead of discussing whether DLC is or not important to be fixed, the idea as a community would be to do what we can to help a detected glitch or error to be addressed and fixed. In cases like this, when a company does not even response seriously (saying they are still looking for a fix after 2 years isn't serious at all), a good way to get their attention is through their wallet.
It would be nice noone pays for anything (patron pass, boxes, etc...) for a while, or until some of these issues were to be resolved. But this is unlikely to happen.
