Refund or Fix, we all should claim for this to be heard

To all those players who bought the DLC content for this game, we should demand trion to fix the DLC trophy issue that is going on for over 2 years!!! They should give a formal explanation to all of us who paid for that content and a tentative date for fix to be implemented.

Unfortunately, the only way i know a company hears their customers is when all of them ask for refunds...
We paid not only for the content (which in my case was not so good...) but for the trophy to be reflected on PSN (once achieved). It is insulting not to even get a response on their part.

The issue is present in PlayStation 3. Not sure if it is happening on other platforms.

Funny thing is, Trion doesn't need to do anything.

There's a lot more going on with dlc that actually has an effect on game play. Like the lightning rifle which is part of those paid DLCs, and has had an issue longer than I've been playing. Probably since that DLC was added to the game.

also gunslinger DLC froze sometimes... and some pursuits are impossible to complete solo, you need at least a group of 3 for some to get gold. For me those are issues to address. But trophies are not meaningless for those looking to complete them.
This suppouse to be a known issue and fix known too, yet nothing has been done to actually fix the issue in 2 years. I think that is more than enough time for them to do something about it.

Like I told you this is an entirely unimportant issue not only to the company but to over 90% of the ps3 defiance players. Please stop these meaningless posts.

So lets get this straight hes pointing out an error and because you dont care you feel you have the right to speak for a whole platform........who's outta line here?

It should be fixed, we pay for these privileges, and expect them to run smoothly, not encounter tons of issues, and have to deal with them daily, because trion doesn't care

I received credit for my dlc trophies.

Tell that to the guys that bought the game at full price in 2013. To them, you're pampered by comparison to then.

In all actuality you shold get a refund. But Trion's not going to do it, since they closed the door on this issue long ago. IMO before you spend any money on a online game do your research. Search the forums (of the game has one) ask other players about bugs and issues. But ppl blindly go into it drop a ton of money and cry refund after. Life lesson learned I hope...

IKR, and on top of that they usually have the worst JP drop rates and RNG too!

they will only care if we all complain, not just 1 guy... they should fix the DLC issues, we paid for them.
For those who bought the game before Free to play, they actually get the trophies for DLCs. It is for those who started to play the game after F2P that DLC trophies don't get reflected. It has been over 2 years. They may be thinking we don't care, well i think there is quite a few people still trying to get this fixed.

Again, i will be asking for refund, if more ask for the same, we may get the fix in place soon.

GL to you on this. Another issue is the original team that designed the game were all sacked. And many of the other ppl that came after that are gone or moved on as well. The trophies are not a problem that Trion even considers. Many problems are still here from day 1, and have never or will ever be fixed. I've played games from companies like Trion that own many other games. What they do is put most of all the sales from their older games into new or newer games. Wash, rinse, repeat.

i understand your point of view... but this is the only way left for them to even care on listening to us. Money talks, if many complain about same (and it is legitimate claim) they will start listening. Only their wallets they care, then lets aim for that.

Exactly. Did you know things were so bad on launch day I spent 23 hours just trying to connect to the servers before I gave up? Please in comparison to the hundreds of problems that actually aftect gameplay and hurt people's wallets (both trions and the players) this isn't even remotely an issue. Trophies gain you nothing but a bit of bragging rights. Stop being such a perfectionist and play the game. Despite all its issues it's a one of a kind game that has kept many entertained for over 3 years.

Yeps. I have played every event except for rolling blackout and most of the aa event. I have pulled 2 jackpots the entire time. Both of which were ep one during the event and one during armistice.

$2000 in bit boxes for no jackpots...

Bentu is entirely correct.

yet again, a fix is required for those who actually care... if you don't care of this, don't bother to reply, not talking to you, but to those who have this issue. As mentioned, those who bought the game at full price don't have this issue. They get those trophies.

When it comes to gaming, we surely differ on opinions about this one.

What exactly is the issue with the DLC Trophies? I managed to complete all of mine so I'm curious which ones are giving people a problem or causing an issue?

all DLC related trophies do not get reflected on PSN. This only happens to those who installed the Free to Play version of the game and later bought the DLCs. So you may have bought the game at full price (or discount) long ago.

just clarify, did you bought the game or just installed the Free to Play version?

I started playing when this game went FTP. PS Home announced they were closing down and I was looking for a game to occupy that time with. After playing for a while I purchased the hard copy. None of my DLC trophies have unlocked. I was told it was some kind of relay issue. I'm not exactly sure what that means but I have an idea. Once I reported the issue I also contacted Sony. Sony rep told me it's on the development side and Trion has to correct the issue. I agree with your frustration and I agree with what others are replying with that there are more pressing issues within the game that need attention. However, this issue should have been an easy fix and should have been part of that not so great bug bash we had a while back.

Fortunately for me I have a ps4 and have found a few better games to occupy my time with.

Circa 2005.

Those that spout off about being day one players have no idea that no one at trion cares. It's all about "what have you done for me lately" that keeps your jackpots falling into your lap. Quite frankly I would be embarrassed to say out loud that I paid full price for a game that barely worked upon it's release and hasn't worked well since.

It's more that those of us that are left are not surprised after 3.5 years of this. Trion has already stated that they made the decision to release the game without it fully working in order to meet the release date.

If real money is involved, then it's not meaningless. If it were meaningless as you say, then no one would've brought it to their attention and continued to play and the existing Thread on the matter wouldn't have such a high number of interests, so please stop defending these slum lords and actually encourage them to fix the damn game rather than worrying about meaningless things that have been broken before and after Free-to-play.

instead of discussing whether DLC is or not important to be fixed, the idea as a community would be to do what we can to help a detected glitch or error to be addressed and fixed. In cases like this, when a company does not even response seriously (saying they are still looking for a fix after 2 years isn't serious at all), a good way to get their attention is through their wallet.
It would be nice noone pays for anything (patron pass, boxes, etc...) for a while, or until some of these issues were to be resolved. But this is unlikely to happen.
