Is there going to be plans to address this? As it stands, it is essentially worthless to other players when trading. Maybe convert most people's scrip to arkforge or elite boxes (leaving them some of course so they aren't flat broke). There is some good stuff in the elite boxes right now so its worth. Just a suggestion as it seems the economy is screwed thanks to past dupers and exploiters.
You can exchange scrip and arksalvage for elite boxes...Been this way for a very long time.
How about 1 scrip for 1 arksalvage exchange in the vendor?

i agree with Bentu, wouldn't be fair to remove everyone's scrip, what about those who earned theirs? They should have perma banned the duplicators and scrip glitchers. I also agree a viable scrip sink would be a better way to deal with the inflation - my 2 centsQuote:

This should drain people's scrip real quick and when the inflation is down then Trion can reduce the price by 5x so it will be 10mill scrip per 10,000 AF or 1 AF per 1000 scrip.

Yeah this wouldn't be fair to the people who spent loads of money on the game and earned their scrip. Arkforge would be a cool currency though thats for sure but an expensive one. Personally when buying and selling weapons I prefer trade, but if its a mod or something I prefer scrip. Can't imagine having to pay for mods with arkforge or something. I think they need to raise scrip values earned though like instead of a daily reward of 600 scrip it should be like 50,000 or 25,000 or something to help newer players.
When the economy is over-inflated you don't print more money because it just makes the problem worse. The newer players are at a disadvantage because there are no controls in place to limit how much scrip is in the game. With a viable sink (or preferably more than one) and cap the value of the scrip new players earn will not depreciate over time.Quote:

This has always been an issue though. In year one, people played the game while others did the boring grinding days on end. I pulled 4 to 1 boxes compared to the casual player therefor I pulled much more valuable loot. I put in the effort for what I pulled so I was paid for that by other players.
Now I agree Trion blew it with the inaction of exploiters. These numbers are just a guess, but Id guess we went from about 500 billion or so total scrip in game to about 700 billion and a few weeks. When players are gloating about having duped 15+ t5'd supreme Until Deaths and have well over 3 billion scrip, then Trion failed the rest of the community by ignoring at least the top offenders. BUT AGAIN, this problem shouldnt trickle down and become something I or any other vets have to pay for out of "balancing the game".

Update all mod vendors by getting rid of green mods and add t4 and t5 mods. 100k for t4s and 500k for t5s.
Add a event mod vendors for past event and charge double the standard syn mods.
Id probably blow through 100m scrip on day one. ;)
