How valuable is an Epidemic stock?

I finally earned my Skrillbuster gun, but was extremely disappointed to learn the mods for it don't exist ingame anymore! :eek:
A kind player gave me a good deal on most of the mods, but they didn't have the final mod I required, the stock.

So to get an idea of how easy or difficult it might be to obtain this, how valuable are they to other players?
I don't necessarily want a good one, a green would do, it's more about completing the Synergy then it is anything else.
Ideally, I would like one that gives stability, as I tend to run around a lot while shooting.

And please don't start off on a gear superiority lecture, this gun is better then that gun, this mod is better then that mod, the last Synergy is pointless or anything else along those lines.

It'll likely take a while, my bet is post in zone every now and then the first week of hh event.

Nah this is an easy one. First, open your inventory and give it a scroll. (hopefully, you didn't crit out doing that) Now picture everything you now have in your inventory going away. That's what that stock will cost. :p :p

Somebody mentioned that to me ingame, but they also said: RNG torture, low chance of success and don't try it.

I have terrible luck with drops, so I doubt I'll ever find anything worth enough to trade.
And I certainly don't have high levels of Scrip either.

What is a loyalty vendor?
I've seen the message onscreen a few times now, I assumed it was connected to my Patron pass being active, but haven't figured out how to investigate that yet.


Given that players were mostly telling me Shrillbuster is a bad gun, why would they attach such high value to a mod made for it?
What is the reasoning there?

First look at Loyalty Vendor at Alcatraz same floor that you port in to the left of the vendor to see Loyalty.

Second, Epidemic Synergy was Bit Store only but the Epidemic Bundle was a BR and one of the Epidemic JPs was an AR (Proliferator) so there was a high demand for the AR mods. As well as the a high demand for the AR mods because the Shrilltech Buster was an unlockable gun through pursuits.

So I doubt that there are any non attached Epidemic ERR. That said if you are really just looking to complete syn (and you should I like the 4th bonus) look for a Guerrilla Buttstock, for they tend to go for a lot cheaper.

Loyalty points are awarded for having a patron pass or buying bit store lock boxes or bundles. I don't know how many points the bit store stuff gives you but the patron pass awards you 1 point for every day that you log in and claim your daily ark hunter rewards and 3 points for claiming 5 of those in 1 week. You can redeem the points for event/bit store synergy lock boxes or a jackpot weapon at the loyalty vendors located at Last Chance or Alcatraz. The lock boxes cost 22 loyalty points and the jackpots cost 500.

There was a bundle with the syn that came with an electric shrill blast rifle, players need the mods for this gun hence the crazy prices.

I have all the Shrill weapons (oj) and a lot of extra epidemic mods, but the shrilltech assault rifle is the best in my opinion. Fast fire rate, very high damage and I love the synergy. The shrill Busters fire rate is just too slow, for me, to be very affective with all the newer faster enemies. So your not missing out on much. If you were on PS-na I would most likely give it to you, or at least the mods you need.

So don't sweat it. There is a lot better weapons out there.

Truth be told, since RNG is a cruel loot mechanic, I have to make do with what I find or unlock (like the Shrillbuster).
I end up deleting most of it anyway, because it's all weapons I don't use.
The primary reason for using it was that I was sick of firing a VOT LMG at point blank range and killing myself with the backblast!

And I think it would be extremely foolish to start buying dozens of boxes with real world money just to get an OJ or the Shrilltech assault rifle.

I prefer guaranteed rewards, earn enough of currency X, go to vendor, buy item.
I did inspect the Loyalty vendor and there is some orange gear I want to use, including two shields with 100% health regen (haven't decided which one I want yet).
But we're talking 1000 Loyalty points for both the shield and one weapon. I am uncertain if that target can be achieved.
I've got 17 currently and it's all going to be spent on an Epidemic lockbox that will most likely give me all non-Shrillbuster compatible mods, like shotguns, detonators, infectors, etc.

I'm hoping that I can trade a useless mod for the one I do want.
But it depends on if an epidemic mod is generically useful or only the ones compatible with assault rifles.
