Individual DLC and Season Pass Going Away

Hi All,

Next week, we will have a new bundle that will be available on the website, in the Sony and Microsoft stores, as well as In-Game. This bundle will be an all inclusive new player bundle, that will include all five DLCs, inventory slots, ark key expansion slots, loadout slots, and a starter vehicle.

Due to this new bundle coming out, we will be removing the individual DLCs as well as the original Season Pass, with the new edition taking the place of the Season Pass. These will be removed on 11/1 with the release of this new bundle.

Unfortunately, due to an error, the individual DLCs have already been removed from the Microsoft store. We do apologize for any inconvenience, however the new bundle will contain all of the DLC content, and will be available on 11/1 next week.

If you are missing any of the individual DLC, and would like to get one before they go away, this will be the final weekend to be able to do so.

Where can people on xbox buy these individual dlcs if they're missing any so they don't have to buy the whole bundle unnecessarily.
I can't find them in the bits store as of this morning and as you said they're not on xbox anymore.

So this is only for new players and not players who already bought individual dlc's? Because I bought my dlc almost 2 years ago.

How much it gonna cost around for the bundle?

The DLCs are also not available on PSN as of right now,checked quickly cause I wanted to get the gunslinger trials.

So much for this weekend being your last chance to buy them unless they put them back for it.

I wonder if we will get anything if we bought the season pass way before this change.

A *free* congratulatory pat on the back. Mine's already on its way in the mail, I heard.

Hope most of my clannies get this message... have quite a few "new" ones that need to fill out their DLC's.

All the pack needs now is to include SOME bits for the bits store.

In almost every other MMO, including Trove, you get some currency to spend on the cash store when you buy content.

When I bought Season Pass I was so used to this from every MMO that I didn't realize the bundle didn't come with bits, and was a lil bummed out.


Enough for just an outfit and headgear or two would be plenty, to give the players a somewhat 'unique' flair... 100% of people would enjoy and appreciate that bonus

I just noticed the DLCs are back in the store (for psn at least) so anyone who needs anything now is probably the chance...Hello gungslinger trials

Will the Defiance Steam Store be affected by the removal of individual DLC and season pass? And will there be any bonus benefit to those who bought the original Season pass?

Sure do hope the folks that have all DLC (whether season pass or all 5 individually): get the same extras.

Or something super awesome like a x2mag nat syphon QM syn courier, jp: with the highest tier roll reload, next lower tier dmg, and next lower tier crit (purp x2mag).

Destromathe, I don't kon if this is related, but today, while reviewing my contracts screen, there was a red message stating that I neeeded the Arkbreaker DLC, to complete Chimera contracts (??? maybe i'm mixing DLCs x Missions, here), in my sixth toon. I do have all the DLCs since forever. Don't know if it was a fluke and I'm wondering if it's happening with anyone else.

Could you please double check this new bundle system will not affect previous DLC or season pass owners?

I'll be interested to see if they do anything for those of us who purchased the DLC'S prior to this "new player" bundle.

So what is going to be done for those of us that already bought the dlc player bundles, and are no longer getting the items when we create new toons. ..apex detonator, the oj smg are two of the items I have noticed missing as of last night. For the apex, 100 bucks for something that is now not available seems a bit high. Is there a compensation coming? Also Wondering why bundle items have an expiration date on them. ..they never used to when in claims. Again, I always was led to believe they would not expire as this is PAID FOR CONTENT.

I can read which is why I said how can they purchase them this weekend?

Just ask yourself this, do you think they really care?

They want you to pay 4× as much just to get 1 dlc lol

Hello jerdan,

All items that are to be granted to all characters created on your account will still remain that way. In some cases, if you do not login to a character within a certain time frame, a weapon can be broken down by the auto salvage feature. If this happened to you, please put in a ticket to our customer service department, and they can get that item restored to you! There is no expiration date on those purchases, and you will continue to get those items on new characters.

If you still want to purchase individual DLCs, they will remain on the Playstation store until tomorrow. Once they are gone, the only way to get the individual DLCs will be to purchase the bundle that contains all of them.

Ok. ..Yeah what I used to do was leave the purchased items in claims and the ego up and pull down the item when I was ready for it. I Will submit a ticket, but I can tell you now that the mass canon Pumpkin weapons went to EXPIRED right away. If I log out, then log back in, they get salvaged. The apex and the bundle that came with the oj smg do no longer provide weapons on any new toon creation. The adapted boxes still do tho.

That huge pumpkin mass cannon is such fun lol.
Get a plus four mag xp on it and fire five of the things in a row.
Looks weird seeing 5 huge pumpkins flying across a mjr.

Man this sucks for me I became unemployed last month and I'm missing the 7th Legion DLC, so now it will cost me £30 for the last DLC nice :D

FIX THE DLC TROPHY BUG and you guys will get more sales FACT! i know many of people on psnprofiles that wont buy the dlc because of the bug

Since you are re-packaging the season pass are you going to fix the existing bugs? Issues with the Volge Lightning rifle, the inability to supreme Warmaster weapons, and the numerous issues with the Warmaster ark fall are just some of the things that have been neglected for a very long time. Re-packaging the season pass into a new bundle with no intention of supporting its content, especially when you know it is already broken, is misleading to customers who believe that they are paying for actively supported content.

Except once they get the money they don't seem to care if things are broken. Its been what 2 years? 3? Only things to have come out are more bitstore crates.

On the xbx dashboard go to search games and type in Defiance Gold Edition.

this is one of the most ridiculous ideas you ever had , now for those who didnt buy all the DLCs now your making them pay for them all over again . and in turn ripping them off

whats going to happen with the people that have bought the season pass as i have yet to see a answer to that question yet

yeha they gont give a squat , if it has nothing to do with marketplace and how much they try and shine that turd people are still gonna get screwed over big time. at least on DC Universe they make it at least fair for free to play players and premium for the most part
