I see people getting 2 jackpots PER major and i'm after about 300 majors the only thing i have to show for it is a lilith. If you want players to keep spending money in defiance you better give them something for it. I have spent about 50 000 bits in the past 6 months that's more 99% of the defiance players will EVER spend.

3-6 ain't enough but i'd say during 3-6 hour you can do 30ish majors

30 majors in 21 days is unfortuanetly not enough the people you see with a few JP's will have been hammering the event with alts.
If you don't get one this time round at least your karma will be built up for you to get one next event :)
Yeah Aliasse is correct if your connected to people from different clans you can hit majors consecutively I would say max is 9-10 an hour. Depending on if they all pop up one after the other.
Also in all fairness the Karma system is working as intended, compared to what it was like a few months ago and especially last year where people were pulling nothing from a whole event, I personally went 3 full events without pulling a single JP and that was grinding all day. Karma has definetly made a lot of people happy, you may just need to participate in more majors.

Karma is definitely working. Had 7 accounts with patron from the free Atlas Reactor promotion. There is a huge difference in the amount of jps with patron. After my patron expired, I have only received two non-patron jps on the 6 accounts where my patron expired. Prior to that, I had like 12 jps with karma over 1/3 of the time the event was running.
Not for everyone. And i actually spend money on the game so i think i deservw more jps than the amount i've gotten so farQuote:

since karma is tied into a patron pass. what happens to your karma meter ,if you let your patron pass lapse ? does your karma meter stop? example , if you pull a jp without a pass . does it still reset your karma meter?
From different posts in this thread it just shows things aren't as should be even if it is supposedly working as intended but mind you their working as intended doesn't necessarily mean it's what we expect.
It would be nice to know how it's supposed to work even if it's "in the background".
I mean come on how the hell can you even let those words even pass your lips on the subject of jps.

We were told we had two chances at getting a jp where as a normal one and a karma one, this changed to the normal jp re resetting karma which you initially said it wouldn't.
In the NVA event I had a reasonable spread of jp weapons between xbx na/eu so didn't realise that karma covers both servers but the revelation that it does has effected how I play and for some reason didn't get a single jp on eu xbx, I may of got a lilith not sure but all the others fell to the na and I didn't get a single jp I wanted.
Now you can say that's rng rightly so but that's all I got in the last event too on the na so something is weighted somewhere.
There's also the critting issues, as has been happening since the game dropped that at the score board we sometimes crit, this now happens roughly 15 seconds after the reward screen, why?
I don't really think it's a way of controlling the drops in game but it's a good damn coincidence and we have no way of knowing if we were due a legendary or jp drop because it happens right before we're supposed to see it.
If the game recognises it as a jp then we then go x amount of time before the next one.
If the system is working it's working as you implemented it and not how we envisaged it as the weighted drops to the lower valued or sought after jps shows.
I know you said a meter of some kind won't be implemented but it's the only way to dispell a lot of peoples grievances about it.
Just a karma bar at the bottom of the screen like the xp bar would do, nothing too accurate but something to say you're about due one and if the bar resets without a jp being rewarded we can see where it went wrong.
I don't think it would take anything away from receiving the jp experience as at the moment the downer from receiving multiples of unwanted jps overrides any expectations.

We Defiance fans have to be way of people who want shortcuts, like seeing the Karma meter... As we saw with the exchange, people who grind excessively for the sole purpose of getting more ingame currency and such will only leave Defiance in ruins. Defiance simply doesn't have the manpower to handle all the farmers that could be flipping ingame stuff for real-life cash
I play 4-5 hrs. a day, and have had a PP since they went on sale[yrs. now], I network w/t clan and friends and do every Major possible, yet all I got JP wise was a crap bug gun that the only ppl that would want it r the ones that park there're cars in the middle of a Event Major. I do not think that Karma is working right for everyone and believe that I did better before Karma, and don't worry it won't effect my PP sales to u ppl., u c I've grown used to getting crap from Karma[I don't think it is real, but u do have a lot of ppl fooled], now u will look me up and c that what I'm saying is true, but as I c it if someone gets a JP it's Karma, and if not means u have to play more, man what a load of horse crap, but the thing that u really need to fix is the fact that ppl can park cars in the middle of a Event Major, I don't think u can at regular Majors y here?
