STAR WARS
OTHER MOVIES THAT I'M TO LAZY TO THINK ABOUT
Tron : Legacy ... Olivia wilde... she ... just sooooooo hot in that movie =D
While I don't think I swing that way, I'd go all Ellen Degeneres for Olivia Wilde. I just hope she loses the blonde hair she's been sporting. It takes away from her beauty in my opinion.
Favorite movies:
House Of Games (awesome movie about con games by David Mamet)
Galaxy Quest
Blood Freak (the ONLY Christian, anti-drug, gore, horror movie with a turkey monster drinking the blood of stoned hippies)
Slaughterhouse Five
Melody (doubt anyone has ever heard of this one, never mind having seen it)
The Graduate
Saving Private Ryan
Gladiator
Shawshank Redemption
Tron Legacy (I know not a genius movie but still a favorite)
Castle in the Sky
The Island
Gone in 60 Seconds (the one with Nicolas Cage, but only cause of that awesome Mustang)

kind of surprised no one mentioned Alien and Aliens.... classic movies.
recently though... Expendables was good, less recently, Serenity/Firefly.
as for comedies, Hot Fuzz, shaun of the dead, zombieland and Paul.
edit: and although most people will likely disagree, i thought Outlander and Battleship were good movies
Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter... I'd list second and third favorites, but it would imply that there are other films that compare to JCVH.
For comedy i will say TED . i never laugh that hard in any comedy movie I've seen =)
The Incredibles . Always been my fav :) and Star Wars
Cube, Cube 2 Hypercube, Cube Zero, Unthinkable, Fight Club, Carriers, Aliens (all of them including AVP), Rocky Horror Picture Show, Nine Dead, Saw 1 - 7, 28 days/weeks later, Zombieland, Serenity, Inside Job, Law Abiding Citizen, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)

Ooh, how in the world did I forget Donnie Darko on my list? Stupid of me.
I loved Pan's Labyrinth, but the ending made me practically suicidal for a week. I can't bear to watch it again.
Oh, I know - I feel the same way. Every once in a while I still watch it, and yet again vow not to watch it over. :D
It's strange how some movies are truly wonderful, yet 'once' might be enough. Perhaps it is because they make such an impact or they require too much emotionally. I also have movies and shows with such fond memories tied to them, I simply will not watch them out of fear of tainting it. http://i.imgur.com/G9bBn5B.png
airplane...just because as someone studying to fly planes, its classic, and because its a classic.
thinking of classics, ALL the monte python movies.... cant believe i forgot that when my favorite movie of all time is the holy grrrrrail..... with sharp pointy teeth.
and i forgot to mention the evil dead movies.... what was i thinking. i mean sure it was a long day, but god, you can never have enough boomstick.
ace ventura is up there, though not the best imo. donnie darko i wasnt much of a fan of, though it might've been the big creepy bunny man always in the shadows....creepy men dressed as bunnies standing in the shadows are creepy...especially in NY
jurassic park and ET simply because you "must go faster" no matter what, and my cousin when little got scared and cried watching ET.... yeah, true story.
