Anyone find these missing synergy mods yet?
So, I'm getting to the point in the game where I want to start working on synergy weapons...
Thing is, having completed all available content that I am aware of, I have only been able to find five different types of synergy mods.

Those that I have found thus far:
    Brutal, Synergy Mod Cache
Run & Gun, Synergy Mod Cache
    Preparedness, Top Notch vendor
    Scavenger, Soleptor vendor
    Precision, VBI vendor

...but what about all the other ones? Just going over my inventory, I have seven other synergies that I have yet to see any sign of mods for (Outlaw, Veteran, Survivalist, Machinist, Quartermaster, Assassin, Cannoneer... and I'm sure there are a handful more.)

Has anyone actually found any mods for these synergies?
Is this DLC content and/or content that has been pulled from the game?

Side note: regarding the faction synergies (Preparedness, Scavenger and Precision) ... I highly recommend not touching them with a 10' pole. The mods you receive are non-tradable, and completely and totally random. The odds of getting what it is you seek is laughable at best. Assuming you are the luckiest person on Earth, the best you could ever hope for is a one month investment to attain both your choice in weapon and the four mods for it. It is far more likely that, even doing your dailies/weeklies for the next 6 months, you might have 1-2 mods at best.

They come in the random mod you purchase with your green bubbles. I have tons of all of those.

You can confirm that you have found Outlaw, Veteran, Survivalist, Machinist, Quartermaster, Assassin, and/or Cannoneer mods in the Synergy Mod Cache?

To date, I have only ever found Brutal and Run & Gun in the cache .... and I'm talkin' probably 20 or so purchased between beta and live.

Yeah I've only ever gotten the brutal synergy mods in over 30 synergy mod caches. Has gotten annoying since I have no interest in adding melee.

This is just a wild guess but it might be an ego level thing. I noticed that I started looting much more green and blue items as my synergy raised, perhaps there are thresholds at which the other options are added into the random chance?

Pretty crap system if it is that, just throwing ideas out...

If that is the case, then why have the weapons roll with those synergies before said EGO Rating? ...and where would you attain the mods? The only way to reliably get mods after you have completed the content is through synergy boxes and hotshot/rampage challenges.

By the by... I'm EGO Rating 1286 atm. If it is indeed based on ER, then they set that bar awfully high.

Also, I've heard a couple of people now state that they have found mods of various qualities that show no synergy until viewed in the Add Mods tool in the Salvage Matrix. I've gone through my entire inventory's worth and found nothing to support that claim.

This morning I had the epiphany that, maybe they are all just bugged and non-visible like this. In that case, there could only be one source for them; rampage challenges. I logged on, went and did a few to gold completion and... nope, nothin'. I did a Hotshot or two as well, but figure this can't be a source as they reward mods for specific gun types, and there isn't one for every type... still nothin'. These things are just flat out missing.

From all the vendors i only get the brutal mods in those boxes! (The reputation vendors i havent tried but saw that some list their mod types if you read box descriptions) so a little annoyed think i have gotten 30ish brutal so far! :(

Yesterday you could buy a Purple gun with the Machinist synergy mod for 5k scrips on a vendor as Sale item lol.
So far I have also seen several guns drop with various synergy mods and they were all crap really. :-(

But mehh... enough has already been said about the itemization and progression in this game.

I have gotten 2 different Scavenger one for sniper rifle from finishing side quests.

It could be that they are bugged. I know they've had to adjust the weight of weapons and shields in the boxes so you aren't only getting shields and grenades.

Could be the synergy mod cache is heavily weighted towards giving brutal currently.

Wow 1286 and you expect to have all the good stuff lol it hasnt even been a week yet o I hope to hell you are no where near high level and quality mods otherwise this game wasnt very well thought out in terms of leveling and loot

I've gotten precision from the shops that sell 2 mods for 100 rep before. I think the shops have different trends in terms of what kinds of mods they give away, but this is just speculation.

Beyond that the game world is still pretty small it might be possible that after the show airs new parts of the world will open up showing new vendors that sell these "missing mod types"

Given that, at 1286, I have completed all available content in the game (and did so about 300 ER ago) and haven't been shown anything "new" since around ER 500... yes, I would expect to have seen these by now.

Also, no offense, but that last statement indicates to me that you have no idea how they have designed progression for this game. It is a game of inches, not your typical MMO grindfest. The very first guns you find in the game at EGO Rating 10 are no better than equivalents you will find at EGO Rating 100, 1000 or even 5000. Based on everything I have seen about the game thus far, the synergy stuff should be freely available and plenty visible even from an extremely low EGO Rating.

Correct. As noted in my original post, these are among the only five I have seen in the game. Two of the others are from similar vendors, and the last two are from the mod caches. The former three are all non-tradable and should probably be avoided at all costs.

See above comment. Are you sure you didn't purchase these from a vendor? Namely the Soleptor vendor for 100 Soleptor faction? That would explain you having two of them.

Finished all available content, spend hours trying to obtain quartermaster mods, came to conclusion, they don't exist.

I'm nearing the same point for the same items. I'm spitballing a bit but I would not be surprised to find out they were left out of the loot charts either intentionally or accidentally.

They probably drop when you spend a jitload of "real" Money on lockboxes.

It would be helpful to know if they have been left out for now or not, as spending time attempting to acquire them when they aren't actually there to acquire is rather painful and a waste of time aha.

If that's the case then i guess i'll never get the synergy mods for my relic weapons and just leave them with normal mods lol.

I'm erring on the accedental. I just can't see them purposefully removing the mods, but leaving in the potential for weapons to roll those synergies.

The only other alternative I could see is if these is content intended to sell the first DLC... at which point I will be facepalming so hard at the ridiculousness that is.

I would go up and read the rest of the thread but it's late and i honestly cbf'd so I'll just ask, what mods have you confirmed are available so far?

you can go to the salvage matrix and remove mods from the weapons you don't want.

you can choose to keep the mods and destroy the weapon or keep the weapon and destroy the mods.

although i haven't tried this personally...

Edit: The other two faction vendors don't sell their respective synergy mods. Myself and others have never seen anything but Brutal and Run&Gun from the caches. Besides the caches, the only other way to attain mods after completing all the side quests is through Rampage and Hotshot challenges, and neither of those have ever rewarded me a synergy mod.

I was thinking more of a "Lets pull this to save some resources, and we'll slap this back in once we nail down the playability issues..." or "We'll add this in the first update since no one will be getting that high... Whoops..." or even "This set will be hella rare and available from this secret vendor, that the players haven't found because it was tied to this quest line that hasn't been activated yet..."

Oh right, my bad lol :p

Well those mods might be swell for other people but spending my faction currency hoping to get the ones i require and getting nowhere is baaad! 4 relic weapons that i actually like and i can't get one mod for any of them, I'm going nowhere fast! :p

This one right here would be my guess. Happens in practically every MMO. The 'hardcore' are always made the suffer. :P

I have searched many posts and sites on-line and have discovered that ONLY the mods you have listed are currently available, the handful of others who claim to have obtained some other mod are mistaken or out-right lying..If not let them post a screen shot. The other thing is these weapons could in fact be "red herrings" In other words they have no mods available and it was never intended they would. They get tossed out to generate a lot of work that will never see fruition. I recall I got my orange pistol with machinist synergy at a fairly low level and chased the mods for a while before I realized there are no mods. Perhaps some time in the distant future Trion will get off their collective ***** and make these worthless weapons something other than a waste of inventory slots.

Machinest is a load out synergy not a weapon synergy. Loofor youtube videos explaining synergy mods for clarification. Basically having a [2] next to it as opposed to a [1] [2] [3] & [4] means your primary and secondary weapons need to have the same synergy in this case machinest for it to be active.

After playing through to 2200 ego, I think it is safe to say, itemization, mods, and much more are all ****ed up and in need of a complete overhaul. Hardly anything works as intended. And alot of the bonuses have such a small increase, it is almost impossible to test to see if they are working. If the benefit is so small that you cant test it, the benefit is so small that it doesnt matter at all...
