Thank You Devs!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the things you have been adding to the game for us recently. There are A LOT of complainers for a free to play game, and I didn't want you to think that everyone is unappreciative. I love this game and play nearly every day. My only two requests would be to allow us to silence others weapon graphics and easier usage of our inventory/trade system, but they're not deal breakers (obviously).

Keep up the good work, keep improving the game, and don't let the naysayers get you down. There are those of us out there that appreciate you.

The only complaints I make or heed are those made by the vets that paid for the game.

I honestly don't think it's too much to ask that what we paid for work properly. Sadly, this isn't the case.

If the team devoted as much time as they do to creating these "new" events, unfortunately there still wouldn't be enough, as all the new events and weapons are merely reskin/recycled content that has been in game 3+ yrs. It's akin to drinking fresh milk that has been added to months old milk, continuous recycling only serves to sour the palate.

I still enjoy the game. I just don't play nearly as much.

With all the problems going on, I also don't play nearly as much & don't appreciate it half as much either.
That's what happens when customer service is trash, the feeling is reciprocated.
It's one thing with all the bugs & errors, but when they can't even keep their word to their customers & are even flat out ignoring some by sticking their heads in the sand, it's a whole nother' story.

Only other thing is you say it's "free-to-play" but the playability factor is going down the drain.

People have critted out of the game more times this month than all year.

And if people are voluntarily choosing to put money into this game, it isn't fair or just to them that they aren't even receiving their bits in a timely manner or at all.
Some people have been going 6+ months now without compensation that was promised but never delivered.

If they didn't have a Defiance store at all, and it was just some free game or they never went F2P in the first place, okay whatever.
But people are getting ripped off left and right.
Borderline con-artists.
Whether it's not receiving your bits at all or buying something new only to have it removed or nerfed from the game months later..

And all these problems aren't with just Defiance, it's Trion.
Many of their customer base has the same exact complaints across all their games.

There are plenty of people out there like you Pix that supported & liked this game, but even those vet players are fed up with the incompetence & leaving for better games where the company doesn't take it's customers for granted.
It's really a shame when customers put so much value & faith into something only to have their efforts taken for granted.
With the amount of patience I have witnessed from the Defiance fan base, it is clear the players put more effort into this game than the company.

I feel the same as both Reb and Salem, and find myself not playing as much anymore. Sure I still enjoy the game, but mostly due to my friends. I've all but given up any hope of ever getting another JP ever, unless it's an event pursuit. I refuse to spend any more money on this game unless they address many issues. The lack of transparency is concerning... I'm sure new players think we're just whiny complainers but deal with as much as we have and get back to us.

I have to agree with Fallen_Aingeal and xSalemx vary little if anything is done to fix the game same 3+ year old glitches still exist. for example the clan list in quick menu only has first 16 members so we can't port to most of our members, you would think things like this would be fixed after 3+ years but no. What annoys me the most is the vfx form the masscannons, not only is it blinding but it causes headaches for some players

I'm not saying there aren't things to fix. I agree about everything you've all stated, however, the devs have added things that people requested and they're STILL complaining. It's a thankless job and all of this negativity isn't good for anyone.

I *do* pay for the game and get frustrated, but I still play. I have yet to find a perfect game to play online. My closest would have been City of Heroes, but it had it's faults. We just learned to work around them and have fun. And I did for 8 years.

agree with em both, the devs have introduced some super cool new synergies and a few new cool weapons to keep the servers populated with people chasing after loot. sadly it seems like they have left the rest of the game behind as the only way to get new loot is to do the monthly event arkfall. so nobody pays attention to any other facet of the game because there is no incentive or rewards.

Pixie we all still like and play this game, maybe we don't play to the same extent however the moaning/biatching/whinging you see here is born from sheer frustration at how Trion treat their own game and customers.

When Trion actually address some issues you'll see a whole lot of different attitude from people around here instead of frustration.

And we know it's not all of them up there. Usually it's the upper management that is to blame. While the lower management just has to take the crap, literally.
