My frustration with this game has come to an end i think. Its sad because the game has so much potential. 4 of the same jp? Im not the only one either cause someone else said they pulled 5 jp shottys. Will you guys at Trion get anything right? Pardon my tone while i vent.
1st of all the constant disconnects. I love playing the majors for points. I like seeing my name in first place. So frustrating to have first place then crit out RIGHT before the end and not get credit. Or crit in an expo and lose my rounds. Or crit out checking my inventory? WTF?? Or crit out sitting idle in one spot for a few minutes. OR crit out purchasing patron pass. Or crit out because i traveled to a specific location on the map? Or crit out because the 80 year old rat in Trions server decided to stop running for a minute. Its not my internet connection either because i have the best internet money can buy. I also had someone at microsoft check my ping/connnection ect. My connection is well above average. Its a combination of Trions hardware and their obvious we dont give a poop attitude. EVERY PLAYER ON 360 NA HAS THESE PROBLEMS. Trion will tell you its your connection.
2nd the lack of effort thats put into the game. 3rd the "sorry about your luck" attitude customer service has. 4th the balls this company has to ask hundreds of dollars for items/packs in a game that doesnt even function properly. Thats like putting a brand new set of tires on a crap car sitting in the middle of the woods that will never run properly again.
The real sad thing is that people will pay it. Thats one reason Trion will never fix this game. They know people will sink hundreds of dollars into the game regardless of it functioning properly. Why should they fix the problems? Trion has no reason to. Its not like they are going to lose income.
I have an xbox 360, an xbox1, a pc, and a tablet. I play games on all of them. I choose to play defiance because the game could be SOOOOOOOO good. I like the game when it functions properly. Im sad to say i cant think of a time when it did.. I like my clan. I like the other people i play with on NA. If just the smallest bit of effort was put into it.
Getting the same 4th jp was the straw that broke the camels back. 4? Of the same one? What are the odds of that anyway? By the way as soon after i pulled it guess what happened? Yeah i crit out. Shocking.
Nobody likse to feel like they are taken advantage of. Anyone that has ever given Trion money fells like they got the bad end of a deal. Find a team of people that care about the game as much as some of the players and problem solved.
If money is all Trion cares about. Which it is. Yes i understand its a corporation. Corporations make money i get it. But put some love and care into your product. Make us believe you give a crap about the product. Its so hard to care about something when the owner doesnt take care of it themselves.
THINK OF THE REVENUE THAT WOULD BE POSSIBLE IF THE GAME SIMPLY KEPT ITS PLAYERS CONNECTED. A basic concept that should not have to pointed out to a game developer that makes MMOs.
Im a gamer that has gamed for years. I will NOT admit to my brothers or real life freinds i choose to play this game. Its gotten beyond embarrassing to be on the wrong side of this mess called defiance.
