I guess the NDA will drop once they have all the major bugs ironed out.As it stands, with only Trion being aloud to show stuff it means there is always somebody there to explain away any problems they run into.Think how bad newbies might see the live-streams being if Lance wasn't there to keep mentioning that there playing on alpha.

It actually has very very little to do with bad press, or the public knowing about bugs and wording, granted it has its part to play.
But its mostly down to legallity. With the NDA they can still change content. Ie they can remove features or change them without worry. So say for example shadow war. If they kept that under NDA, and it had some major bugs they could remove it for later release when its sorted, last minute.
That's why most stuff we hear about is sorted, mostly, or there being vague over. Gives them wiggle room.
Prime example of this is WarZ. They promised tons of stuff for the bought beta and ended up destorying its rep and forcing refunds because they didn't have the content in it. (among other reasons too off) but if they had NDA and held back details they wouldn't of made such a balls up
