Let's be honest. Who is close to quitting?

Can't believe yet another MMO releases early. After seeing the last 25 of 28 great mmo potentials fail due to releasing to early and for that reason ONLY. LOL. I agree 100% Defiance has Lots of Potential and heck it's FREE ANYTIME after you've done made the Initial purchase so I'm just hoping some jaw dropping expacs will lure people back. But sadly the lack of content was a mindblowing bad decision to keep people lured in until the show pops. Horribly bad decision... I'm semi casual and have weeks if not years of things left to do ingame while some have done put in their 500 hours and are seeking other stuff to do I guess.

Faction Points? Reputation Points? Damn, do I ever need a guide. Sucks that you lost that gun, but if that's your only reason for quitting then it's you who loses out I'm afraid.

This thread is still going strong I see. I wonder how many people have changed their opinion these 10 Days? I'm hoping to beat the game tonight. I HAVE to be close.

Lost a gun? Put in a support ticket and they will take care of it for you :)

Defiance is awesome!!! It is exactly what is was presented to be, and am looking forward to its evolution as a game in conjunction with the series.

And yes, the majority of "shooter" players will get bored fast, and hardcore MMO players too... It is a hybrid game of sorts which I believe I'll "revisit" often once I reach that point.

Hopefully everyone enjoys it for as much & as long as they can! :cool:

i see wat ur saying i like the game alot im lvl 1,177,,,but their are no cool heavy armor sets every one just were the same dog thing

Actually they won't take care of it. All they can do is to give you a RANDOM purple item.

Everyone I know isn't interested anymore. Defiance is a good start but very shallow.

Let's see - how exactly would YOU react if you loose a weapon you've spent a week farming faction points for? Not to mention perfected the synergies with mods you got from keycodes/lockboxes? Do you have at least the SLIGHTEST idea on how difficult/time consuming that is? I don't think so... Otherwise you wouldn't behave like that.

Not even close. The game has not even launched yet really...
Its most marketable feature with the TV tie in has not had a chance, so why should I quit?

Imagine this:

You are in a club. You see a really hot girl, yet after watching her for an hour, her dance moves seem repetitive.
She approaches you and asks you back to her place, yet say "Nah sorry.. Your dancing got boring, so surely that means your sex will be rubbish too..."

Try the milk before shooting the cow... all we have had so far is a sniff of its udders.

I'd rather quit a game and return later on when it's fixed, than playing it and run around like a fool being fooled by a company that doesnt even know how to give their employees the means to help the player community properly. So who's the child here?

Now keep in mind... I spend a week farming keycodes/faction points in order to perfect that rifle. I traded, posted on forums, was active in every freakin A.F outthere.. In order to get the perfect synergies+mods = setup.

This is all taken away with a blink of an eye due to a stupid bug and due to a company NOT giving their employees the proper tools which they should have - Trion isn't a NEW company in the MMO genre...keep that in mind.
