Why not wait until after the daily reset for patches?

Here we go again, two of my six Patron accounts did not get their dailies done because you're resetting an hour before the reset rather than waiting another hour. Since two Patron pursuits are based on seemingly random Silicon Valley incursions (when there was a time you could count on at least one if not two on the map simultaneously), and today they were also non-Patron, that's a nice slice of rep I missed out on.

Not everyone can play the game at any time. There always is the possibility of downtime, but is there any thought behind cutting off the chance to finish dailies by an hour just before they are reset rather than an hour when they first become available?

I hear you, I only logged in about an hour ago and then was soon told (in game) about the server restart.

It should also be possible for us to be notified of abnormal restarts at least 24 hours in advance (unless its an urgent matter) via the forums / website / glyph or whatever - this is so we know before we even log in.

I don't understand the reasoning behind it either ?????

I believe trions hands may have been tied on this due to it being a windows update.

Threads move to the 2nd+ pages fast here and all I can see of the title in the list is: "Cyber Rig Supply Crate Patch - 10 AM PST (6 PM". And I guess I skimmed it because I'm not too bothered about cyber rigs at the moment! :eek: Still, it would be nice to see a mention of the patch/restart in glyph :rolleyes:

If you're leaving it that late to get two randomly appearing dailies done then it's not entirely down to Trion is it. Just saying.

I no longer try to get everything done on my four main toonz but just concentrate on the main one's I'm playing on (I have favourites lol).

Saying that though I can't see a reason why they can't do it after the reset.

Maybe their just getting to work...j/k
