You shouldint have bought the game before researching it and reading consumer reveiws. The fault is yours, and yours ALONE. Grow up and accept some responsibility in your life. I waited a day before buying, read about all the issues, and got it anyway because I knew they would fix things over time, and they are. Because you have the mentality of a 8-12 year old is not anyone elses fault.

Except they havent shown any fraudulent behavior or unethical business practices... they've shown the practices of a company that is currently devoting everything they can to fixing the known and existing problems.

This is the problem with most modern Americans: The MBA mentality of "I think I know how it works and I think I an entitled to it because I think I know". Heres the real eye opener, YOU DONT KNOW HOW IT WORKS. Unless you're a 10+ year programming/software design vet with years of network/design background, chances are you know jack diddly squat related to this game.

The problem with ME3 was not something TRION did here. BioWare ADVERTISED ME3 as having many endings, each that reflected the choices you made throughout the ENTIRE trilogy, what we got was Red, Blue, and Green. THAT is where ME3 went wrong. SimCity went wrong in its *internet only* requirement but failed to mention it on the box. Both of these are false advertisement claims. I have yet to see or hear ANYTHING on these forums that relates directly to a false advertising claim.
First, have you tried my suggestion to use live chat (a browser other than Chrome) yet?
Second, the burning question: why, if you haven't been able to play for even an hour, did you spend cash on the in-game shop? Not that it really matters...

Stop posting in this thread and go deal with Trion directly, not through a forum. Submit a ticket. Use Live Chat (see my suggestion above). Email them. Whatever it takes, but this thread is nothing but a whine that you bought a cheeseburger and didn't like the taste after you ate it, including going back halfway through and asking for a side of tomatoes, and now you want your money back.
Honestly asking for a refund or some sort of compensation is not that big of a deal. If I purchase a product that does not work IE constant crashes making the game unplayable then I fully expect to be compensated. That goes for any purchase not just a game. For example if you go buy a car and 10 miles down the road it just turns off for no reason do you really think you would keep the car? Now the thought of well that is a car not a video game comment comes up. How about a movie ticket? Pay $10 to see a movie and 10 min into the movie it just stops playing and you wait 5 min to start up again then 10 min later it stops playing again. This is not an enjoyable experience and I would ask for a refund on my movie ticket.
I could throw hundreds of examples of why compensation is due because of Trions lack of resolution to their problems. These so called server updates have not fixed anything since day 1 of release. Actually the game worked fine for 2 days, April 4th and 5th then the same issues came back. Even today they updated the game to not spam EGO (IT WAS ON THE PATCH NOTES) and as soon as I log on I get spam of EGO. It wasn't fixed yet they say it was.....so what else do they claim to have fixed but didn't?
How about the problem with modern game company's who think they can release any old piece of **** and claim "oh we will fix with patches"..In my experience those patches rarely come soon enough, and they screw more things up..I am not ready for another ride down that trail, refund me and the rest of the intelligent consumers and let the rest wallow in the updates for the next 3 years..
Its unethical from the standpoint that we were just conned into paying to beta test and fund they're game. Its fraudulent because we are not receiving goods and services paid for.
Dont get me wrong, im not wasting my time on a lawsuit for this as ive already been through it with Bioware, and this game isnt THAT bad, at least not for me. Other then PVP Deathmatch I havnt even seen a problem other then occasional lag and the ever annoying server outages. Im just playing devils advocate for those of us who do feel defrauded and do have the resources to make a big deal about it. But I also see 100,000's of people who are having issues that DO in fact make the game unplayable, and the fact we are, for all intents and purposes, beta testing they're game for them is rather disheartening.
