Massive dissappointment
I am merely wondering what does MMO mean to these people? I only ask this because this game is classified as an MMO, but it clearly is not since it has a story-line that it follows as well as, now listen closely because this is the most important part, it ENDS. How the hell are they going to call this an MMO? You know it is bad enough they are still, for whatever excuse they may have, dealing with glitches and server issues (being booted) but now the game becomes a complete false advertisement due to the fact they ENDED it. It makes the game no different than "Reckoning" or any other RPG. You know for a company that makes its' money creating these specific types of games, they failed miserably with the release of this one. Perhaps they should stick with just doing PC games and leave the XBOX games to the experts. I haven't been more disappointed in a game then I am in this one. The only thing this game is good for is target practice. How on Earth do they expect to rectify such a disappointment?

So your small brain can comprehend the fact that more content is to be added, correct? Not sure I have ever seen an MMO that had infinity content at release; show me where I can find one like the such.

Sigh...people, research. Please. It will save both you and others unneeded headache.

Massive multiplayer online, the real question is what does mmo mean to you?
-
I am slightly confused.
Firstly, I am assuming you have finished the game and you saw the last 2 cutscenes. I am very confident that the story has not ended.
Secondly, MMO's are episodic by nature (see: always online and updates). There will always be another story to tell. Although if you see my first point I am sure we have not finished with the first main story.
Finally, MMO means Massively Multiplayer Online - there are large amounts of people who play this all over the world. Thats what MMO means. Not sure what story has to do with number of people playing?
-
Problem is people see MMO and instantly assume RPG. They do no further research and when it's not what they expected they throw fits on the forums.

Massive multiplayer online = massive, the game is big; multiplayer, there are many people; and online, the game is online.
Nowhere does it say or not say that is will or will not end. While I'm sure we would love to have mission continuously appearing it would most likely kill the devs.

There's lots of people on at the same time so it is considered an MMO. Not like I was planning to play this game till I have gray hair but I'd imagine a month more or less.

I guess OP never played Borderlands or does not like Borderlands...
