Hellion/Proginator kill shot

These seem to just come down to luck and thats it. After doing 40+ major arkfalls of the two I have yet to get the kill shot on either of these

Mostly luck, aye. Full auto doesn't hurt, either. Landed the Hellion on my seventh go about and got the Prog on maybe my second scrapper ark. Got incredibly luck. Now if the damn kill counters didn't reset constantly.

I use an LMG that is at 125 rounds in the mag and start shooting about 1/8 of its health left then before my mag runs out I activated overcharge to get another 125 yet still cant land it lol

Try a sniper rifle. Hitting a critical point with them can deal over 4k damage. more if you are proficient in them.

LMGs are always a solid choice. If you're still having trouble, though, you could try picking up an AR with a fire rate of 12.0 or so. Think it's about 320 a shot, so you sac some damage, but with the increased fire rate you have that much more chance at landing the killing blow. Actually, now that I think about it, that's what I got both kills with.

Got both kills with an FRC Assault Carbine.

i saw there was a major scrapper arkfall in san fran that was on the prog... thing.

i pretty much stole the kill

its not a kill steal, they call it a rescue kill in defiance

I got a kill shot on a hellion last night.. Pure luck. I was using a lmg and over charge. But it was pure luck. I see this challenge being one of the hardest to hey

Haha this is exactly what I was going to post! LMG + extended mag + overcharge for instant reload. It's a setup that can put out tons of damage. Even with that it's next to impossible to land that killshot. I think I landed it last night on a hellion, but honestly I'm not 100% sure because of all the stuff that was popping up on the screen at that point.
