Needs to be at the center of the screen, and easily seen.
I was in the middle of an arkfall and the server goes down...I know it tells you in the chat box, but when you're busy with something you won't see it, and it's annoying to get to the end of a major arkfall only to have the server shutdown...I wouldn't have wasted my time doing the arkfall.
I agree. The chat box is so invisible, it's incredibly rare that I notice anything in there.

i usually see the notice but nothing popped up this time.
i was right in the middle of an epic major arkfall in San Fran with just a handful of ppl. kinda bummed :(

I heartily agree. I was in the middle of a co-op mission and didn't even see a notification. Server status messages should be in big flashing red letters across the upper middle of the screen for about 3-5 seconds so that it properly registers that "Yes the server is coming down and you have been notified".
Also agree. In the middle of a fight, the only thing a player is trying to do is stay alive, especially when there is a f-ton of enemies on screen. And with how aggressive they tend to be, you don't get a break to check every little thing that pops up in that window.
I agree. 10amPST server maintenance no on screen warning..I was with a bunch of people doing an Arkfall then POOF! Server down. WTF!
I'm just pissed because I went to 3 of the 4 minor arkfalls, then half way through the major the server goes down....I mean it's great they are fixing stuff but if 15 mins before the server went down they simply put "Server shuts down in 15mins for maintenance" even once in the middle of the screen I'd just have vendor'd my loot and signed off until it was done.....
