Console Beta realease date

that date might be for all beta consoles even if you didnt preorder at best buy

I'm interested to find out. That's only two weeks away!
And Best Buy doesn't seem like the type of place to put out wrong information...

So... 16 days before the game launches. 16 days to go through all the bug claims, compile the list and fix them in-game and hope it is big enough to justify a title update, then wait for it to go through certification. That is why you don't wait until the last second to do a beta. But whatever. I'll be getting this dem- errr I mean, beta.

I already pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition at Ebgames but there is no mention of a Console beta. It would suck if I don't get access to it. Since I live in Canada I wonder if they are only offering it to American retailers. Bestbuy.com talks about the beta but Bestbuy.ca doesn't even have Defiance listed on the site.

* Update after I did some digging on other Forums it seems that Ebgames Canada tends to hide beta codes sometimes or they might receive them and give me a call. I just have to be patient and see what happens.

I heard very little of this game last year but after seeing that 1hr IGN video I got hooked. I barely play any MMO's since my last one I played was Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast.
I know i am not the only one who wants to play this game bad.

To be honest most bugs will be found during their internal test/on-going alpha test but thats not to say that the game will be released totally bug free because no game really achieves that. The Beta for consoles is most likely a stress test for their servers and a demo for some people.
