Tried to handle the angst of some people but there is some nice talk in this thread. Thanks for re-opening.

Theres plenty of terrible threads out there to lock, this one was never necessary :\

Seeing this thread back though makes me want to go back to writing a nice thought out post outlining a lot of issues with expectations vs reality.

Well, remember, if at any time you folks feel a thread/post/etc violates the Code of Conduct, report it, but don't reply to it in any way (lest you perpetuate the issue, feed a troll, or what have you). We're only human (except for me, because I am obviously a ferret), and we do miss things sometimes, and/or make mistakes.
