Trion, do you guys undertand the micropay/cashshop model? Because by the looks . .
Of it you dont.
Here are some simple thinks you could add.
#1 - Varying durations and discounts on longer buffs. This is like elementrary marketing/sales methodolgy here. 24 hours isnt ****, hell most people will only a faction of those hours and they will feel like they have been had, or would be had since no one is gonna buy 24 hour boost. Add say a 7 and 14 day boost with 25% and 50% discounts subsequintly and you will have people spending more then they intednded and feel like they are getting a "deal". Best part, cost you the exact same virtually nil.
#2 - Skins , beyond body and heads , you need weapon skins. A golden AK47 AR ala scarface, I dont know **** people can play dress up with , hey gobble that **** up.
#3 - Pets, x10000 bonus points if you make them into a minigame where they dual like pokemon (scrubs will throw money at you) you can go simple and just have a npc follow people or go big money and let people fight there pets , even if its automated and justa roll of the dice with some illusion of control. BIG MONEY
#4 - Gifting ITems - These are social items say a box that when anyone clicks it they turn into a random creature for 4 mins, or any thing stupid for people to feel like they brought enjoyment to others gaming experiance while filling your pockets.
thats all the free advice for now. Your welcome.
I may be out on a limb here, but....
I paid real money for this game, and shouldn't have to pay more for costumes etc.
I'm happy to keep xp etc as a cash shop, so people can use either time, or money to level up, but everything else should be available to earn as well as buy.
If this were a free game, then the rules are different, but it wasn't, and being the most expensive PC game to date (£35 vs £25-£30 for most others) I'd like to think I can use all the content in the game I paid for.
Trion, please keep the cash shop for "unlocking stuff early", random loot boxes and convenience items, there shouldn't be anything I can't get by just playing the game (otherwise it has the worst of all worlds).
The one thing that drove people crazy in Global Agenda was that we bought the "full game with no subscription fees", only for it to go free play, with a cash shop. Then to cap it all people with the full game had to pay to get stuff that you couldn't get without real money.
It's a great game, fun and there seems to be a far bit to just "find", just don't get too greedy
PS. For boosts, it would be great to see a choice of: 7day boost (real time) being the same price as 24hr boost (game time) - for those that have plenty of time, and those that play when they can (eg us parents).
