i agree there needs to be a few tweaks, but people are using the things that play to the strengths of the map, which i cant really blame them for even if it does frustrate me a little. I tend to only play waterfront as it offers a bit more distance than Obs so using an Ar or smg is a little easier for me seen as though its my preffered choice, although i feel they are a little underpowered, takes so much ammo to firstly take someone's shield down and then actually kill them, i dunno, maybe its me.
Before any tweaking or "nerfing" happens we really need to see what other maps come out in my opinion :)

The only way to "balance" the pvp would be limiting weapons to a specific pvp only weapons (one per type) and changing the numbers from there.
Regardless got this purple shrapnel grenade yesterday, not sure why, but I get double and triple kills with it every comp pvp match now. (must be the dmg or area of effect I guess).

Instanced PvP is terribad, and I've pretty much stopped playing it. The maps just don't work. If about 80% of the LOS blockers got removed then it'd be alright, but as is it is pretty awful.
Shadow War is amazingly fun though. Weapons seem much more balanced when you can't just LOS in 1/2 a second when getting shot at.
