I have seen a few episodes of Trigun and it is okay. One of my best friends loves Vash the Stampede.

I think this is close Nausica of the Valley of the Winds was released state side under the name Wind Warriors as well, I recommend the subtitle over the dubbed US release it makes more sense/less childish.

You could try Berserk, that is newer but has a great story and characters as well as Cowboy Bebop. Fist of the North Star is old school, Bubblegum Crisis is cyberpunk/silly/sex kitten kind of stuff but wasn't bad, and one more bloody gore one... Mega... ugh I cannot remember. Akira of course... and if you want to see amazing animation in a film of shorts Memories or Robot Carnival are amazing. I can also recommend a US animation 'Heavy Metal' the original for a neat 'Tales from the Crypt' kind of film about good vs. evil, warning has nudity.

Although some of those will be hard to find I'd imagine...

I just finished watching the last episode of Fate Zero and was choking back a flood of tears by the end. Still dont kknow if it was out of happiness or sadness though.

Yeah I definately prefer Subbed over dubbed. Subbed is a direct translation of the origional script, However dubbed leaves plenty of opportunity to, as I said, censor and white wash the script, removing any language or habits (verbal or otherwise) that could possibly offend ANYONE in ANY WAY possible. But by doing that it makes the character completely unrealistic and thus unable to connect with on an emotional or deeper level. it becomes "Yeah, I am watching...so what?" rather than being able to identify with characters in many ways.

as for good rps, I have been watching "Phi Brain" which is pretty awesome I think. Got me interested in doing mind/logic puzzles. Phi brain is basically a group of people who have to solve brain puzzles to defeat the enemy, but these puzzles are done on a massive scale. And failure could result in death.

Not a huge fan of anime but... I loved Kaiji. One of the greatest series I have ever watched. That it was free of some really pestering anime tropes was a plus as well.
