I watch anime and with some I get emotional.. Two animes that I feel will have anyone in this world emotional are "Angel Beats" & "Sword Art Online", oh and "My Little Monster" as well.

The only anime that has made me get emotional is Wolf's Rain.
I have been an anime fan since I was 21 or so. I am 34 now. My first ever anime or manga that I was exposed to(well, actually I was exposed to Voltron as a child because technically it was an anime, even if it was based off of an anime called Beast King GoLion)was Ranma 1/2. When I first read the manga, I was laughing so hysterically and loud that my dad had to come into my room and ask me what was so damn funny. I just told him he wouldn't understand. LOL. I later got into the anime and fell in love with it. After that, there was InuYasha which I fell more in love with than Ranma 1/2. These days some of my favorite anime are Bleach(as you can tell by my avatar pic and user name(Riku is my Japanese nickname, a shortening of my name in Japanese, patoriku. And Kurosaki is the last name of the main character of Bleach. And 15? 15 in Japanese is Ichigo. LOL.)), Naruto, Death Note. Some old favorites like Blood+ & Air Gear. But Ranma 1/2 and InuYasha will always have a place in my heart. I even saw the live action Ranma 1/2 TV drama and it wasn't half bad. I also am a massive fan of Hayao Miyazaki's work. Every film of his when you watch it, it makes you feel like you've been transported to another world. Some of my favorite movies he's made are My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle.
Kurozuka, Mirai Nikki, Code Geass are the only anime I have watched recently and felt emotional.
I watch a lot of anime and read a lot of manga.
Kemono no Souja Erin almost made me cry... And I'm a Hellsing/Gundam/SamuraiX/Tenchi loving anime person but the story behind that was a work of art brilliantly done in anime form.

The only anime that's ever gotten emotional responses from me are Trigun.. actually teared up a few times, the story was just so unique, and incredible and bad ***.
and then dragonball z :P
something about certain parts of it just makes the hair on my neck stand up and get all, ohmygawd imma punch something!
I've watched a great deal of anime.
Anime I would particularly recommend are Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Texhnolyze, Planetes, Eve no Jikan (Time of Eve) and Jormungand. Also Dimension Bomb (a series of anime short films).
All made me at least a little emotional.
cant it be both ?
