This game will not be as great as it can be . For one reason
That reason is casual gamers. This is supposed to be an MMO. It didn't even fully release yet. People already want to be maxed out completely already!

People are crying because skill bars are going up fast enough.

Days are gone when you actually have to play the game to progress.

Casual Gamers these are confused to why they aren't really powerful just by pressing start an killing the first mobster they see.

Uh looking at that join date I assume you played the original D13. Cause that's how it kinda was. You'd get awesome weapons and be level 30 before you even got out the starting area, curb stomping enemies.

They make enemies tougher, that's great. But neglect how that's going to effect minibosses. Making them bullet sponges. That's not fun, ask Division players. They removed a ton of weapons from the game and replaced them with endless green weapons that are about as effective as throwing rocks at your enemy. Maybe once in a blue moon you'll get something really good. And keep it forever. That's not fun... ask Destiny players. In an MMO you want to keep getting new stuff that's replacing your old stuff. You want to experiment with new weapons. You want them to be better than that blue piece of crap you've been carrying since level 20. But no you'll keep that blue piece of crap till end game, constantly grinding crap guns into it.

We're conditioned by the way D13 played.

We have RNG because casual gamers don't want to go through the old style mmo raids, where you need 40 people spread into 6 groups where you have to really strategize so that each group has to take care of one part to work towards the bigger goal. In old style MMOs you know where the good loot is. But good luck trying to get it.

It's They do RNG because casuals have a chance at getting good loot.

Of course RNG sucks. But so does the 3 hour preparations you go through just to Try to take down that mob that has the best loot.

You'll never feel as accomplished in an MMO like this compared to an Old style MMO where you actually had to spend 6 months trying to get to the level cap. Even then you needed a good group of people to get anywhere decent.

Don't get me wrong. It is fun. I enjoyed the original a lot.

Everquest an Old MMO has like 700 advanced abilities you can get to make your character stronger. This game still has the same 30 abilities it started off with since the beginning since 2013

funny part is D50 is MUCH less rng then the old as I understand. You can buy the very specific weapon. You can reroll stat to what you want. They didn't even implemented raising reroll price.

I don't really have any problem with guns (beside tiered enhancing, that sucks, but it's only temporary setback). Not spoiled with D13 endgame tho. But I HATE getting random boxes containing **** after **** and when it does have a weapon type I want it has useless stats.

The guy upstair has some strange issue with green guns. At 1k they are as strong as blue would be so rarity doesn't matter at all. Next 1.1k gun outmatch it.

The MMO's "of old" has the worst mechanics ever conceived. You do the raid, then you have 0.01% ONE person might get something good. Because none of "old ones" cared to implement sharded loot. Thanks but no thanks.

Prefer modern way where you actually do raids to drop upgrade items but you buy/build whatever gear you want. So guy without raids could have the same but of lesser quality then someone playing more/harder content.

No idea how D50 endgame looks like. But the problem is not in green weapons at 1k. That's just the urgent need for some progress quickfix that came from mobile.

Power rating means that the game relies heavily on gear instead on player's level so it doesn't really matter if you reach EGO 50 in 1 or 2 days.

The old Defiance was actually also skewed a bit towards gear but this seems to be even more so.

Actually what if we just elminate EGO altogether and go straight to gear-based system ala Monster Hunter? Not sure how to handle EGO powers or perks, maybe through point system where you must get enough points to purchase an EGO power or perk.

Yeah, EGO 50 is downright meaningless—you'll hit it before you even get to Sausalito. I assume they only included EGO levels (and capped it at 50) so it would feel familiar and comfortable for MMO wanderers who might be scared of the Power progression system (or whom Trion thinks were scared away by D13's EGO leveling system).

the only reason of the fact of maxed level with people already is due to the fact of the exp bouns they gave us all i reckon that they shouldnt of done it at all

could have easily been Mastery of Warframe. Meaning total sum of all leveled classes. No reason to cap it at 50. Would be still "meaningless" (in WF it grants you start with more then 0 skill points when you level new thing) but at least something "collectible".
