So far I don't see any nano effects. If I can recall correctly its no longer on the guns themselves but on the bullets u have. Well I try to buy these bullets and can't find them anywhere. Please help me understand this. Also, I'm getting a lot of green weapon drops but no blue ones. Can anyone explain that as well? Thank you.
It looks like ammo is a mod slot on weapons now, so you first need a weapon with that mod slot open. You either get lucky with a weapon that has it already open or you use salvage to unlock it (might take several attempts, but I have not tried it yet). As for blue gear, I have got 2-3 as drops so far and like 9-10 as quest rewards.
it's ammo mod now. Goes into ammo slot on weapon.
You will start seeing blue things around power rating 1k. Around 2k half of things are blue with rare purples.
