To the 360 players...

Hey guys, I understand a lot of you come from the 360 version and are very excited to play 2050 on the current gen consoles but I would ask you to do one thing, one tiny thing for me, stop spreading misinformation or complaining about content. I have seen many threads about "Oh where is this it was in OG defiance?" or "I did this and didn't get this, but I did in the first one!". Lets all walk into 2050 with the mentality it is a new, fresh game instead of thinking it is a remastered Defiance. Events will come, your vehicle vendors will be here in time more than likely, so relax and enjoy 2050 like you enjoyed the 360 version when it first came out. Thanks! Love you.

look im playing the game from the time we had to buy it we had to buy DLC's I have spend money on this game now i have downloaded the new version 2050 and its 100% the same game the same missions the same graphics , guns and gear and so on .

except it’s not, it is directly the same old game with features that were in the previous launch of the game removed, don’t try to tell the vets who supported this game long before you how we should feel about trion once again giving us the shaft. It’s unnecessary.

The bigger problem is the misinformation being passed because a lot of veteran players didn't read up on what 2050 was actually supposed to be, they assumed it would be the exact same thing pixel for pixel just on a newer platform and didn't seem to account for the changes Trion made to the game. As a veteran player you cant even excuse the negative posts and chat comments of "Why didn't my stuff transfer over?" "Where is this and this?" "In old defiance... blah blah blah". I have seen a lot of newer defiance players be misdirected by veterans with false info about the game is my point so if we all came into it with fresh eyes instead of trying to imagine it is a sequel then we would be better off as a community.

What are you talking about we knew it wasn’t going to be a sequel and there is definitely stuff that trion said was going to carry over yet it didn’t, you literally just picked the game in the last week or so, people who knew about the game for 5 YEARS have the right to question how a game that they have supported for x amount of time is screwing them over.

You haven't been supporting 2050 though, you've been supporting the 360 defiance, same company different games. The money you put into the 360 version will continue to keep those servers going and support it but 2050 is a new game not an extension of the old defiance and y'all were even rewarded with the valor system. This is a free to play game after all, original defiance if I am not mistaken you needed to pay for at the start until it went free to play. This day and age a lot of people claim "They said this they said that" when in fact they just misread or misheard what was actual being stated. Trion offered yall the valor points and even threw in cosmetics that carried over from the original if you linked the accounts and did all the things properly into a new IP (Albeit the same name but new systems) that is free to play so I guess I am just confused where this negative feeling comes from? AAA developers released games that are worse than this and you know you cant argue that point across any platform :)

While yes a lot of players came into this and were expecting the same game just on the current gen consoles. But that is not misinformation, there is plenty of ways out there to get info and they had chosen not to bother. If these players start passing on info to other players, ppl need to get their info straight, don't listen to Johnny Flameboy spouting off because he's upset this isn't D13 now. As far as ppl complaining they have a right to because Trion has been nothing short of shady and greedy. Yes I know they need to make money, but the don't need it all opening day! Account upgrades was a total shafting to the vets, and Founders packs were too. They aren't saying much atm, other than the same ole same ole. As many of us tried to come into this game positive and having a fresh perspective, that didn't last long because it was one slap in the face after another right off. Trion can't sit in the studio keeping to themselves thinking everything will be alright. They need to make things right as soon as possible.

Ummm I bought the ultimate founders pack thank you very much and do you have any idea how the video game business works, you think money for defiance 2050 just came out of nowhere? No, it’s because of all of the support that defiance 13 got that 2050 was even made. Every comment you make just makes you look like a fool telling us that the money we spent isn’t directly releated to the game we are playing now, Again, most vets watched the livestreams and hoped that trion would actually put some effort into the rerelease, but instead we got the same game with literally all of the bugs and server issues that were in defi13. They have straight lied to us about a bunch of stuff that was stated in livestreams.

Well I think most people on both sides have some valid points. those valid points are being drowned out by toxicity in other threads.
