Dead towns not even a tumble weed

Got through a 2 hour queue on PS4 2 hours ago and jumped in all excited after hearing about a fix restart but... hit story line mission and nothing loaded. Entered the targeted town and it took about a minute and 40 sec for dialog to kick in and then silence. No mission load, no raiders, no nothing. only thing clickable were ammo cashes but no ammo given after animation. Aborted a few times and same result every time. Dead towns. Side missions reacted the same. Two minutes to start dialog and all goes quiet. I was bummed. :(:(
