Cant do time trials when rings dont appear

Title kinda says it all, I assume it is due to all this server lag that has been hot fixed multiple times but still doesn't seem to have an actual impact on the game. I am trying to do time trials and after 3-4 attempts the rings just stop pre loading and will appear, if they do at all, right when I approach them which makes plotting out a course in a time trial challenge very difficult unless you know the course like the back of your hand.

Its the really bad lag. Honestly, until this is fixed it is best to avoid time trials. They are infuriating at this point between that and the paper armor causing them to explode on contact with anything including pedestrians. Eventually, they will get this fixed but until then we are kinda stuck doing other things.
