Daily/Weekly Contract

Trion,

You are completely out of touch with your player base if you think doing rampages, time trials, and hot shots is a good idea for daily and weekly contracts. Granted, the 2013 contracts got very old but this is not the solution. In my opinion most people are not going to waste their time with these this boring, grindy, glitched, and lagged out content for contracts.

I strongly suggest you re-think this implementation for contracts. Personally I would rather do the old style contracts than this nonsense.

Competently agree. Madera heat in particular can go to hell.

Yea , not impressed . I’d rather go back to what I’ve been doing the last 4 years

Time trials are out of hand with current vehicle hp. Dev needs to run "Madera Heat" and honestly look into a camera and say this is ok.

I did 2 of those and didnt count..no idea how to do the retrieve requisitions

The requisitions can be retrieved at The Crater. You'll see a box that looks like the side chests in Expos.

Not sure who thought time trials for dailies in a TPS was a good idea. It's indicative of the laziness (forced?) of the dev team.

Not to mention story wise it makes no sense why you would be doing time trials for the Tarr family.

I didnt see any....how big are the boxes?..i went to the crater and couldnt find where to get it.....

Seriously? Time trials for dailies lol whose great idea was that. How about sorting the servers out before something like that is implemented

Please stop trying to defend the game. The cons outway the pros for these dailies. It's garbage.

Bottom line, you can complete a contract with a broken challenge , most just dont work, i race faster than gates load so i have to stop wait for them to load but its a race, other challenges enemies dont load, or dont die . These challanges have always been the least favored part of the game, (people hated them even when they worked) but are one of the few things they kept. It seems obvious devs dont actually play this game .

Some peole have already been waiting 4 or 5 years for something other than these challenges, if i want to play thesd challenges ill load def2013 where they have been since original lauch 2013, and at least work, sorta.

They aren't registering for me either it's not just you. I did the 2/2 yesterday and now today none of them trigger it.

As stands - the current dailys don't interest.
Coupled with the lag, the rampages, hotshot and races are a joke to attempt.

ONE of the major reasons for doing dailies is the reward to spend at the crater or with faction vendors.
We're not earning rewards to spend there if we only do the dailies that interest us, if we're not interested in the dailies, compounded by the frustration of doing dailies we're NOT interested in that are made worse by the lag.

This isn't going well, and it's not getting prettier.

or games, why would you do Tarr contracts if there is no reward for it? :)

I was really hoping they were going to get rid of challenges in 2050.

I can handle the shooting ones, since they are quick. But Time Trials in particular are the worst.

Spend 5 minutes trying to complete a Trial only to have variable circumstances ruin it for you. Whether its lag, something blowing up your vehicle, etc. Just feels like a huge waste of time. Since you can't even claim Bronze from at least completing the trials. Daily credit needs to at least be given credit for completing it.

What I'd really like to see back is maybe the kill quest dailies. Kill certain enemy types or collect drops from them. More things you can do passively while doing missions or Arkfalls would be nice.

Maybe trion read the thread sometime in the future and do the right thing!

Trion's has everything going accordingly to plan in my opinion. Frustrate the heck out of players doing BUNK! dailies and weeklies so that they instead buy keys from the bit store. For them, everything is working quit well actually.

should be are you ego 50 yet, and have you done the quest line that opens any of the dailies?

if so the commendation vendor, next to the stairs to the right, to the right of him is where you pick up what your looking for.

This daily quest thing has really put me off wanting to play the game (along with scaling enemies).

It wouldn't be so bad if there was a wide range of daily quests but from what I've seen from today's daily quests they are all Rampages and Hotshots, all requiring bronze or better to complete. After doing one I was thoroughly bored of them. TBH there is not one of the daily quests that I have an interest in doing unlike the original defiance where I did all apart from the PvP ones as I have no interest in PvP.

The whole point in this game seems to be raising your power level, to do this you kill enemies and hope they drop something so you can raise your power. BUT with these daily quests anything you kill within them do not drop anything. And to top it all off in a Massively Multiplayer game, why the hell would you want to do SOLO dailies?

In the original where you would be sent off to a mission/pursuit area even if you was solo other people would turn up and potentially you would get help or you would be giving help to people who were already there. But in this iteration of the game very rarely do I see people at these mission/pursuit areas so if you have it as a side mission you have to struggle to do it solo.

Under things to do for each area,correct be if I'm wrong,but
I thought I saw the things like Bolinas and tech and turrets for dailies
or was I misunderstanding it?

We need something other than time trials, hotshots, and rampages for dailies. Hopefully, Trion will resolve this real soon so it does not become fuel for anger and negativity.

btw has anyone bought faction blues yet? Is there a reason they have special names as opposed to the generic blue weapon/etc drops?

Change it back i won't do these challenges anymore.

Not every daily works for your contracts beeing lvl 50. you only get a few specific ones that count as a daily. It took me a while to see it, but i.E. take a peak at the single von Bach daily in your pursuits/ contracts and do it. hopefully that registers than.
