I was wondering if anyone is past 3000 yet for their light levels, and if so, what the enhancement costs/units look like.
Have they jumped to units of I dunno...1000 or something? Given the 1, 10, 100 setup so far. and did the costs to move up a rank within a gun increase by x10 or something too?
Yes, they jumped to 1000, price for upgrading was minimal 40k, and then after a while It went to 50k
Heh, so basically despite getting 1000 unit salvage, they made it so you need the same (or slightly more) number of units per level that you did before?
So really they could have just kept a universal upgrade unit, not put a 1, 10, 100, 1000 value on it, and just made a level cost 10 to 15+ units per level, rather than the sneaky math to make it seem BIGNUMBERZGUD?
the real difference is you cannot hoard. Just because everything gets 10x it's not the same. It devalues anything you've collected so far to 1/10th so practically you start over from zero (or nearly zero).
Except you haven't noticed it :) If they reset you salvage every 1000 PR there would be much larger ****storm. That's how inflation in RL works. It's a tax from savings.

Don't need to think, developers confirmed that's the reason :) and that they want trading just for items not bound to power level, like bits or synergies.
But storing items in claim inventory and then claim them on alts to reset main story is the "innovative" idea :)
Trades not in prob bc rework, n you can easily solve the problem by using D2013 Concept, you cant use it unless it matches your LVL, So you lower it, simple.
and if there never will be trading, this game dies.
except that's the only thing that was changed between D13 and D50 :) you now don't have "level". Power rating of the next loot you will get IS determined by items in inventory :) It's not about what you can or can't use. It's what you've at least once owned in inventory.Quote:

I've been stuck at 2500~ for past 3 days now. No new higher power weapons have shown up. Haven't even seen a higher ranked shield yet either. Its lower than my weapons still. D:
