I seem to lose weapon's DPS when I use a MOD

*I posted this in the other bug forums and got no replay so Im posting it here with an update to what I found out*

I was Leveling my weapons and adding mods to them today trying to build up my power level when I saw something weird. I put a +damage mod for my grenade launcher when I saw the DPS drop and not go up... First I thought I was seeing things and kept working on my guns. But then as I put on a barrel on my Sniper rifle I saw it again the DPS dropped this time and it dropped a lot and I was shocked.

what I can tell is that the bonus points and the points you get with the mods are not stacking together. and it seems that the Mods override any bonus points you might have had when you level up the weapon itself. So people all I can say till this is fixed DONT use any mods that will override any bonus points you get when you level your gun.

(Update) it's even worse than I thought with the mods... I just got a new sniper rifle from an ark fall cash and it had a DPS of 450ish, well none of the weapon bonus gave weapon Damage, so I thought I was safe to put on a barrel that gave me added damage. well, the moment I put it on my DPS dropped to 437. How can something that should raise the DPS Drop it so much? This needs to be fixed and soon or all the weapon mods will be good for is to make your weapon weeker.
