I've seen Anne OMG Oakly... Or was that Wyatt Derp? So much ammo, so much never missing...
I've seen the One-shot Wonderboy... AKA Bang it died, with one hit...
And the fricken Flash.... Speed runner

Oh and need I forget the Bathhouse Death Squad from hell? 4 low-level player clearing the Volge bath house all by themselves..

Yes, I have been renaming all the various hacker types just to be able to classify them.

So I send files, and screenshots, but it does damned little if you Devs do not step up your game and put code in place to curb this behavior.

It is not like it is hard to find where these people are getting their cheats.
Surely one of you is smart enough to go there, get the code and then find ways to shut it down.

Sadly they didn't have any in the old Defiance either...I mean they had their own in-house built anti-cheat that was equivalent to a screen door on a submarine. Look at how long they did nothing to add any decent anticheat software in old Defiance. I'm convinced if they haven't added any special anticheat to old Defiance we can pretty much expect the same results here.

Like you and probably many others, I've reported hackers and provided video proof. Got a generic auto reply their support peeps stating they'll investigate...but they never bothered to review my video proof I know cause the videos have no views...and the guys I reported are still in game..still flying and speed running all over the place with their aimbot and one shot super damage green/blue gun i.e sniper, pistol etc..

I just saw someone with a power level/rating of less than 150, make 128 kills on the scrapper uprising.
Of course, the Progenerator only rose once.

When is that any fun?

"Whatever, we're not going to expend effort to code in a fix or add in in-game mods."

On Ps4, I've already seen a few head scratching results at majors, not saying its cheating, just odd.

I saw an invisible/invincible player in waterfront pvp today

Its PC, You can barley do anything, anybody can mod/hack if the you have the right tools and the know how. and That Invisible/unkillable player you saw its a glitch from Old defiance that carried over it can happen on console.

They are already taking action against cheaters and asked for video submissions of cheating for review. They’ve already banned some players according to what they said in the last livestream.

They are not doing anything about the hacking situation in Defiance 2050, at least it seems it's not a priority. The messages I sent to TrionMobi with links to recordings of the hackers in action have gotten no attention, 0 views on the vids. TrionMobi even said on Twitch livestream that you can message him with info on hackers, yet look at the end action there is none. If they don't wanna code/outsource legit anti-cheat software then they need to make more content that we can do as private instances with clan members so there will be no hackers present. But in reality for those that remember old Defiance, nothing will be done in a timely professional manner, its always gonna be we are working on it, 2 weeks pass we are working on it, 1 month pass we are working on it, 3 months pass we are working on it...

has anyone seen these hakers on ps4 or xbox1?

No because you cant do it, on any console game for that matter. unless its Xbox 360 or PS3, Next gen is fine

in the live stream the said dev for them to take action against a player they need clear video evidence, with the ign. gametag sent to them . or ticket. not to post it on the forums . because its against the rules.

how so? I though next gen is closer to standard architecture more then anything else. The games are not locked on some ROM. Changing them sounds like the very same job as on PC.

And no. Just because it's PC doesn't mean you can do anything :) There are same "can do anything" ways to prevent anything. Especially when the game is online. The reason why so many is these days even when they do not require it by nature.

But from the type of hacks I keep seeing practically zero effort was made to prevent it. Just hope nobody does that.

In order to Mod a console, one has to figure it out, then sell it, and spread it like wild fire, which happen to last gen, next gen much harder, simply because they made it harder and its not the same as a PC, PC? hackers hackers every where, Next gen consoles? no where thats why i play R6 Especially on console,
and yes you can do anything on PC if Your smart enough and have the equipment you could take down all servers on a game. its happen, ppl have taken down Xbox one and PS4 servers before, dont act like it cant be done. but modding a game on next gen? hasnt been done yet and i hope it never does.

If it's electronic, and has code - it can be hacked.
There are certain areas of the world that are rabid for game-play, and hacker-factories churn hack code out by the server-full.

Thats what im saying, and Consoles arent exactly "Hacked" theyre more so Modded, meaning they tampered with the Soft ware/hardware or what ever, and then for games like COD Creating a Mod menu, being able to enable God mode aim bot etc, there were things called a Jasper for 360, and you could Jailbreak PS3

Did some digging and it's the other way around. Consoles need to be hacked while on PC it's merely modding (which the game doesn't even try to stop). Consoles architecture is now the PC's.

The way (and what I was asking for) XBOX prevents tampering is the games are running in separated signed virtual machines now. So any change done is rejected by OS which makes it harder to tamper with outside the lab conditions. Especially for online connected devices. It's hackable but for online playing it's also fixable so won't last long.

But the same could be done on PC too if that mattered.
