started defiance this morning and was greeted with a defiance needs an update of 6.63 GB. anyone else see this? i'm on xbox one and i didn't think defiance did updates like this. thoughts? devs?

I'll be interested to see if I have the same 6.63 GB update waiting when I fire up the PS4 after work today...

if the server is coming down to apply patch why is there a need for an update ahead of time unless i'm a guinea pig because my console is a preview beta console for a new patch delivery system. which i would welcome! i would love to hear others thoughts and experiences on this!Quote:

yeah i just thought about it. this update is for the game and the shutdown later is for the servers. hopefully the combination of the two will fix a lot of the issues like contracts not being completed, etc, etcQuote:

i crashed a couple of times early after the update since then have done arkfalls with no incident!

I never see the game in such a bad state, they sure need to start getting worried about how to really fix this.
Game performed okay for me late last night... did my first major arkbreak, which ended successfully... did a few missions, did a few main missions... not too shabby.
Almost felt like I was playing the closed beta once again.
after they fixed the mess havent crashed in 7 hours of gameplay
After the update it crashes less often but still bounced me twice which seems to be the nightly average.
Despite some of the stability however there is still some much needed tweaking to make it less of a chore/work to even play this game and bring back the fun factor to it.
