Working all fine all other days then worked fine after maintenance but had lag then when reset can’t login at all tried both my PS4 accounts nope doesn’t connect tried uninstalling the game then reinstalled the game nope nothing can’t connect by any mean but there’s others on EU I see playing it on twitch streaming service an I’ve seen others having this same problem on Twitter it goes to connecting to server than flashes a message for few seconds then message disappears than a different message comes up saying ‘ Critical The Defiance Service Is Not Available. Please Try Again Later ‘ I’ve tried that 40 minutes later even spread over 2hours and nothing still can’t connect

Please try exiting and waiting 5-10 minutes to relaunch and see if you are able to log in afterwards. If you are still unable to connect please let us know your region and PSN ID so we can investigate further.
Connect to a wifi hotspot and you should be able to connect to the game. If you are playing on PS4 you will need to log-in to the website of whomever is your ISP through the PS4's web browser app.

I PAID $50 for the founders pack. Played the beta fine. Loaded game when it came out and have never been able to connect to game. I want my money back, ripped off will never play another game from this company

The likely reason you can’t connect is that the Defiance servers have blocked your static IP address. I am playing on PS4 and this happened to me on the 16th of July. Had a game crash and then was unable to connect to servers for over a week. After getting no help from Trion at all myself and a friend did a bit of testing and investigation to eventually come to the conclusion that Trion servers had blocked my IP address. This was confirmed by the testing done by the support team of my broadband provider.
I had to get a new IP address to be able to play the game again. You guys need to try and get Trion to unblock your IP addresses or do what I did. Hope you have more luck with Trion support than I did.

It’s not the internal ip address on your device it’s the static IP address given to you by your broadband provider. Only your broadband provider can change this. The issue I had was that I could not even get the the character select. When initially connecting to servers it would freeze for a few minutes then give the message Critical Defiance severs unavailable.
If you have this error it’s likely that your IP address is blocked. A good test to see if your ip is blocked is to go on your computer and try to go to the site glyph.trionworlds.com. Make sure your computer, tablet or whatever is using your internal network going through your router and not 4G or 3G. If you can’t access the site and your browser just hangs then it’s very likely that your IP address is blocked.
