So, what are some good builds for shotguns? Personally, I like pump shotguns, but I'm having some trouble making use for sawed shotguns in PvE (don't really PvP much) the reload is nearly unbearable for me. Combat shotguns are okay, but they tend to be a second choice if I've maxed my current pump shotgun and waiting to get another. Anyway what do y'all consider the best EGO skill and perks for a shotgun of whatever type?

Do you have a link? I've only found that they've lowered damage for sawed shotguns which isn't much of an issue for me since I don't like them. If they change too much of my beloved pump shotguns I will be sad.Quote:

Oh, the perks are moving around? Hadn't heard about that. Yeah, I guess I will wait for the next patch then since it would be hard to make builds if they changed the layout lol. Thanks for the info.
sawed off shotguns were bad enough in pve now they are worse because a couple idiots in pvp couldnt figure out how to avoid them
x2 grenades launching sawed off shotguns are really great for leveling the sawed off shotgun category skill.
You just have to keep distance to avoid explosion damages contrary to the normal ones.
it's like having a GL with 250 ammo.
and x2 1900 AOE damages is quite good.
Otherwise sawed off is :
run to their face / Shoot / Finish with melee if necessary / reload / run ...
It becomes pretty useless in groups since it's no more a one shot kill needed for normal mobs due to HP scaling.
Huh. I'll have to keep a look out for grenade sawed offs then. Haven't run into them yet, but they sound pretty cool.
