    If I remember correctly, during beta, the SAW was slow shooting/hard hitting weapon. It was not a really good weapon. The disruptor was good, but still, any AR was better. They nerfed the disruptor to the ground, and buffed the SAW.
    It seems to me they are reverting this change, and bring them back from the beta.

    There are lots of guns in the game. Even more, there are lots of variations of how each weapon type behaves. Some are stronger than others in particular situations. Some are great for general purpose. Others have particular strengths when attached with a particular Elemental type. It's all in how you use them.

    For instance, I have an LMG that pretty much cracks skulls on everything, except 99er's (for instance.) The reason is because they have shields, where Raiders and Bugs, generally, don't. Thus, I switch to a Revolver (which is typically a pretty worthless gun in my opinion) except it has Electrical DMG applied to it. One shot with that thing, their shields are gone, and suddenly, my LMG is boss, again.

    Having said that, however, I'll say again. Infectors needed a nerf. Whether or not this was the best solution is debatable.

    How about you ask the devs to change Going Commando Rank 3 to require something other than Infector Rank 10? Seriously, that might be why so many people use the damn things. Not because of how powerful they are, but because they are required to get to skill rank 10 for a pursuit, title, and outfit.

    Why don't YOU ask them? Better yet, why don't you just use the gun the way I've already described? Go to an Arkfall and own face!

    Yeah be nice if Trion would grow a brain and make the weapons have diff stats when in pve or pvp mode. Mostly for damage/range, as it already is like half the guys are totally effing worthless to use because of piss-poor damage (Infectors, most rocket/grenade launcher) I mean a sniper rifle hits as hard as a rocket launcher to me that just doesn't feel right (talking non-headshots)
