If there's only one bug to fix
Currently, if there's just one bug to fix, it would be the "venom spitter" bug.

It's not just about venom spitter, the bug is that every mastery of guns that we had before the patch fires up, even if the gun isn't equipped. Most of the time it's inconsequential, but the venom spitter is built around the 4th mastery. It's really slow and the magazines is really small to account for the fact that 10% of the time, 4 skitterlings on steroids will spawn and kill ennemies.

The problem is right now some people have those skitterlings spawning 10% of the time with every gun. The skitterlings are devastating (one-shot kill on everything except bosses), but the VS shoots only once every second or so. But apply that to a quick firing AR or smg, and those skitterlings spawn 15 or 20 times faster. So that puny smg that barely does any damage in pvp now will spawn 4 or 8 skitterling every second. A shotgun will spawn the skitterlings almost every shot.

In PvP, it means a guy shotting you with a puny smg or AR that would barely tickle one opponent might end up killing 2 or 3 in a row. Same with an hagak tornado; a guy just spawned 16 skitterlings before the first one killed me. The gun itself was barely doing any damage (my guess is that he fully upgraded fire rate and nothing else), but the skitterlings 1-shot me when they finished spawning.

In PvE, there's so many of them crawling around that it creates the insane lag during HH arkfall. A guy with an atomizer spawning skitterlings can easily fill the whole place with them. Which creates a lag spike that disappears only when the skitterlings kill everything in sight. Then a new batch of hulkers/tremblers comes along and here we go again.

Seriously, the trophies and achievement stuff has 0 impact on the gameplay itself. This bug, however, breaks it completely. Pvp is 100% broken until this is fixed, and PvE is still playable but it's like playing with a guy on godmode.

The bug is every weapon, not just protos. I have an orange shotgun that gives evasive manoeuver level 2 for 10 seconds if I roll and have assassin class active. When I do a roll and assassin is active, I get the evasive manoeuver even if the shotgun isn't equipped. It doesn't really matters because evasive manoeuver doesn't really do anything, but it's the same bug.

To be clear, VS is fine as it is, kind of on the weak side actually, so nerfing the skitters isn't a good option. Fixing the bug is. I'm fairly certain that some players have a ton of level 4 mastery triggering all the time, it's just that the skitters are the most obvious to people other than them.

And the level of breakage in PvP is a couple orders of magnitude higher than the BS or auger were.

I haven’t been seeing this bug happen anymore on PS4 NA. No longer having multiple weapon bonuses proc and not seeing a million skitterlings running around.

Its still very present. You're the only one who doesn't see it.

Please stop saying a bug is fixed when it isn't. In the remote possibility that there's still someone working on fixing bugs, we sure don't want them moving away from this one because someone wrongly told them it was fixed.

This bug is also still occurring for me as well. I wonder if maybe it is easier to fix for some compared to others..hmm.
