    Like I said in another thread, it's a poorly thought out system that really doesn't add anything. Plus with how poorly this game actually tells you anything, I'm sure most of the players don't even know this system exists. I don't mind a leveling system but having to change guns each time is just bizarre.

    Well apparently, you are supposed to be able to reset the bonus stat a weapon gets once you max a proficiency with a weapon. So that means it shouldn't add much to couch time, since maxing a weapon is relatively quick, and if its one you like and are just rerolling the bonus on it is a non issue imo.

    I think if people ended up using the same weapon through the entire game they would complain about that. Complain that you have to change weapons or complain that you don't.

    That is because gear progression is nonexistent. But the current system results in people buying a stack of their favorite weapons at the vendor and changing them out when they max - using the exact same weapon, just another unmaxed version of it. I'd much rather use the same item all the time.

    They could fix it real easy, Give guns the same amount of levels as the skill proficiency, that way it slowly gets better, you don't have to trash it, and you can keep what you like, and they seriously need to add damage to the bonuses for the skill proficiency.

    On a side note, yes this and EQ, WoW, ETC are MMO's Massive Online Multiplayer games, but this is a shooter not a RPG like those other games the reason you get new weapons in RPG's Role Playing Game, is that as you level you get the ability to use higher level gear which has better base damage and higher stats, I dont even understand why the gear in this game even has levels, unless they are trying to prevent twinking, which was the original reason EQ put level requirements on gear back in the day and is why all the other mmorpg's followed, that being said my no level purple AR I got from Nolan (right as he screws me again) is still better then the level 500 guns ive been picking up, or started buying over and over to level the skill, please stop compairing this shooter to "other MMO's" RPG's...

    this about sums up my issue with the progression in the game. I have a lvl 20 LMG that has the same or better stats as every LMG i get, it's stupid a few ego perks is NOT meaningful progression. in WoW, or pretty much any mmo, the difference between level 1 and level 20 is like night and day, in defiance, the difference between level 1 and level 1000 is about the same as WoW's level 1 and level 2 (if that).
