Tier 2, 3 or 4?

Simple question here, for better gear in lock boxes, do i save keys for a tier 4, or take chances at tier 2 and tier 3? :)

It seems like 4 is a waste of key codes. I go with tier 3 all day.

I've bought 26 tier 3 boxes over the last 2 days with the item boost on and only gotten 3 purples at most.

Tier 3 is the best. It cost way less then tier 4 and you still have a good chance of good weapons.

Tier 3 seems to have a higher drop rate, but that may be just because of the third gun. Mathmatically speaking, Tier 2 is cheapest at 8 keys for 2 guns, but Tier 3 may be better. Tier 4 is overpriced.

I've had the best luck with Tier 3 as well.

Glad to hear my impatience hasn't cost me too much then! I get to 24 keys and the allure of a new weapon beckons me(and the fact that I usually have maxed out all my other weapon's xp) ... I think the farthest I've made it is 32 keys.

I have been buying T4 from the start and I have only got one Orange, I don't know how many I've opened, but I have opened a LOT. (I'm EGO 1633 now.)

Yesterday I decided to open T3's for the first time and I opened 3 and got an Orange.

Now I really regret buying all those T4's.

(I know it was quite lucky that I got an orange from just 3x T3's, but still.

Thanks guys :D I shall try some tier 3 boxes and see what i acquire from them :)

I generally spend them as I get them, try and hold out for the Tier 3's as much as I can, not that I've had any luck whatsoever with them, but meh.
