Shooting the crystal will destroy it instantly.
The crystal is instantly destroyed , but the arkfall does not end. The timer just runs down to zero, then fail. It occurs with more than just the hellbug ones. This bug has been around very long time, it was in the old defiance, though it seems way more common in 2050. Im sure it has been mentioned many times on forums. Will it ever be fixed?
This is still a very common bug, tried to do a few today, they all glitched
yeah ran into this one myself I now pay extra attention "[insert mob type here] destruction" i just avoid. I also avoid the "claimant" ones because getting 1 shot by a grid horror from ?? away is pointless lol

Is this the one where you hit the exposed nodes on the crystals? I did 3 of these earlier and worked normally.
If you hit the crystal instead of hitting barrels it wont bug out i tried both and hitting the barrels cause the enemies to constantly spawn
Only the mutant one has the barrels, also the mutants are capable of hitting the barrels . Also another player who does not read forum may come along and hit a barrel. These really need to fixed , this issue is in the original defiance, but it seems even more common in 2050.Quote:

In DM arkfalls I have to sometimes hit the green switches as soon as they recharge, because griefers will just hit it when a bunch of dm spawn near them.
