This system is understandable in def13,we pay for keys in 2050 and the system in coop should notice any duplicate prototype we have and throw us a different one.This is the 3rd time pulling Archimedes vision !! Can you just rotate the prototypes in coop or implement a system like my suggestion ?
or a good thing would be is instead of getting a duplicate prototype, you get a random amount of bits between 10-100. Wont get all the bits back to buy another ark key because you got other loot with it that makes up the rest that you spent.
Really you shouldnt buy Ark keys when the chests gives you random loot. Just use your 2 free ark keys a day or just grind your way to get the prototypes.
End of the day its your choice to spend money on a broken/unbalanced game. While the game is like this you will never get you moneys worth or get what you want.

Or remover protos from rng alltogether. Make them all like zone protos. You work through pursuit to get them. Simple as that. None of this RNG bull.
the games rng loot system is totally broke. they say we should try to get a nice rolled , high starred orange weapon. Well, let's just say , even getting any orange, nevermind a desireable , well kept one with good rolls is like growing fruit in the Antarctic .
