Hotshots: Moonshine Shack HELP MUH

Okay...

I think the reason is because of the reload bug, for those of you that don't know there is a bug that when you reload, the reload doesn't count and you have to keep reloading until it works, I think that is causing the game to become almost invaluably hard unless your lucky enough to go a while without the bug occurring, obv people HAVE done it but sheeeeeeeeeeeeet it's a toughie! :P

Literally just don't know... Also the shotgun does less damage than my standard Scatt I swear... some point blank shots do like half of their health, makes no sense D:

And tips/exploits or even a video of someone completing this grind? (And well done to trion for actually making mini games a grind)

I definitely had an issue with this Hotshot, but after a couple times you just need to learn the spawns (really only the first ~2minutes). The more enemies you can drop with a single shotgun shell = more ammo = less chance of picking up ammo as soon as you hit 0 (which obviously ends the hotshot).

Here's what I did.

1) Run straight at the first guy walking by the campfire.
2) Now quickly move right and there will be 2 guys running towards you (get them with 1 shot, if you use 2 no big deal)
3) Wait at the doors of the huts and spawn kill them ASAP
4) Now at this point you should be wrapping around the backside of the central house
5) Run towards the truck and get on the opposite side, there will be 4-5 (cant remember) enemies you can drop with 2-3 shots
6) Now continue looping around and you should see one of those diggers spawn
7) Spawn camp the digger and then play it safe, at this point you should have been able to collect enough ammo to make it to Gold

Okay so i've tried this and the highest I can get so far is 4.3k..........

The game is too broken to handle this, with enemies sometimes taking 20 seconds to become visible, ammo dissapearing, failing the mission for no reason and the digger sometimes takes about 3 minutes to spawn meaning I lose my multiplier....

What helped me extreamly in this Hotshot is “SCAVENGER” EGO PERK i have rank 1 but it was enough to get some nice extra ammo.

For ammo problem there is an exploit. In current loadout keep detonator (grenade may do the trick too, even better) and a combat shotgun as secondary weapon. If grenade works, Shotgun and BMG could be nice. Start hotshot, commit suicide. Don't respawn, but when the game says "failed" and try again, push try again. You start next round bleeding. Now revive and use your current loadout. :P

The hotshot only drops shotgun ammunition, so therefore I suggest having a shotgun on either weapon might be a good idea.

I tried this for few raiders to see if it works, and it did. I let the raiders "kill" me and continued pushing the event as it was intended. Still missing gold, but the key is to memorise the spawns, as already mentioned.

If you are having a ammo problem, you should use the Assassin's Cache (On a critical kill, regenerate some of the ammo reserve for your current weapon). I manage to get second highest on a world and at the end, I had full ammo for the shotgun.

I was having trouble getting even a Silver on this one. After reading your strat I got Silver right away, Thanks for the help!
