Co op ark chest bug And frustration.

Tired of doing coops and not being able to open the chest at the end. Was just in Scrapworks Salvage T3 and got the end. Chest appeared. But wasn’t flashing. I have 5 keys. I couldn’t open any of them. This has happened more than once. The only thing I did was change my class from assault to medic once the boss battle started. I’m using a blast rifle and poutromamcer. This happens mostly in scrapworks but has happened in others.
Since you’ve made it so that we NEED 4 players to even enter a coop it makes it even harder to run it again. Especially past midnight on a Sunday. You’ve put power level progression behind coops and then you have a bug that prevents it! I know I’m not the first to post about this and I know it’s been a bug since the beginning. So my question is, why does this bug still exist? Every time this happens I feel cheated. Put in the effort and time to play the game just to get nothing at the end.
Yet, every time I log on I get a prompt telling me to check my cart. Really? Asking us to purchase stuff but not fix a bug from launch? Haha, no.

Thay just need to move the loot boxes to a different location.The area is bugged when we kill end boss and get permanent electronic effect on our toon,same place as the boxes.This issue is happening on all tiers.The prompt to look in your cart was there in def13,just a system to get you to look in the store,think its intended.Most games do it.

Since you would have got crap anyway, look at it as a key saved.

This bug has been there for a while. Some day maybe they will fix it. *fingers crossed*

This problem has been around awhile now, when it happened to me i asked around and someone said if you want to open a chest make sure to not land the last shot on the boss. I started doing this and it seems to be true. Though it does feel pretty crappy knowing its just going to screw another player in the group.

At times i have to jump and press square to open lockbox and to open boss door etc. Hope this helps.

I've notice this bug only takes place when you change your load out during the coop, to prevent this bug don't change your load at anytime during the match, you are able to change weapons, shields, and grenade. But don't change your Class otherwise this bug will take place.
I've tested several times and it works on PS4, not sure about the other platform. Hope this help until the Dev do a hot fix, Good Luck

I switch loadouts and classes often , from my experience it has never caused lockboxes to not work. This is a very puzzling issue.

Yeah but we talking about Scrapworks coop, it continues to glitch the ark chest, so I ran several Scrapworks coop and we notice as long we don't change the class the ark chest will NOT glitch, then we ran same coop, several time again while changing class and the ark chest , glitch everything.

i have never had this issue with any box in any co op.

Yeah it doesn't seem it happens on Xbox, but is definitely happening on PS4

Had this happen to me Sunday I think it was..might have been Saturday too...

I joined a Scrapworks co-op late (they were at the boss fight). I changed my class mid-fight...I did not get final hit, but the chests glitched out for me, and no matter what I could do I was unable to use my key.

Only other situations I had chests glitch was Motherlode before Trouble in Paradise update, and maybe Soleptor Excavation. Scrapworks I've had glitch on me like 3 times max, but it does get irritating when this happens.

Try doing the entire coop without changing your class,

They brought up this issue during one of the twitch sessions. It's got to do with whomever hit the boss last or something. I never change classes when fighting boss (nor anytime during co-op) and it still happens sometimes.

Miller Time, I think you’re on to something. The box ONLY bugs out when changing class. I didn’t change the loadout because that’s already bugged. All I did was change the class. Additionally, I did NOT have the final hit. In fact, I had just grabbed ammo and turned around to shoot when the boss died. This has happened mostly in scrapworks and once or twice in the soleptor coop. It’s just really frustration to play the entire instance just to get to the end and not get the rewards.

Also, in regards to turkey gun. I don’t spam it. I used it on the nano scrappers and on the forges. That’s it. The rest of the time I used a blast rifle.
