Nim Bug

I cannot believe that this game has been out for this long and you still have not fixed the Nim bug on the main mission. I should not have to glitch the damn game so I can complete a quest. In the 3rd phase the boss jumps into the middle where he is invulnerable and stays there. I see posts going back to 2014 for the original Defiance and yet here we are 2019 and a "NEW" defiance and we still have the same damn bugs. Bugs like this are why your game will never go anywhere

Nim Shondu has been a known glitch since the original Defiance. This is just lazy programmers and company to port BUGS and all over to a so called "New" game and NOT fix 5 year old bugs. Plain sorry *** for a company to expect ppl to take them and the game seriously , when it is obvious they don't care about anything but trying to sucker new players into playing an old game pretending to be a new game. New players make in game purchases then realize how bugged this game STILL is. Come on Trion fix this crap!

If you have demolitionist you can use satchel charges to kill him while he is stuck. I do agree that it should be fixed, as I use to get numerous request to help beat him, and always had to use satchel charges when I helped people because he would always get stuck.

yeah demolitionist is one thing that will work, as well as the full demolitionist synergy... not to mention things with a big enough blast radius for new players like philanthropist or rockets. However if they do not have any of the super special stuff, I recommend using rockets. They have a large enough blast radius to where they SHOULD be able to hit Nim.

Rockets and detonators never worked when I tried it when I helped others. P.Patch might work as well since it can hypothetically drop the extra explosions inside the barrier if the satchel charge can hit him

Wonder if engineer MECH/turret, extra grenade, and scatter bombs(don't remember the name) can bypass this glitch as well.

I have to ask.. how do you help people with this quest, I thought the instance was a single-player-person-on-the-quest only. Is it possible to have more than 1 person in there?

yes, you can group up with others before jumping into the instance or while inside the instance. :)

wow that would be very helpfull.. I need to make some friends.. or find a clan that could help.. lol or both?

The best way for you to complete this so he does not get stuck... Do not use explosive weapons when you fight him. Use mid or high caliber weapons and he will not get stuck. Heck I have completed it with just a shotty. If you use an explosive weapon he will get stuck every time.

This is a very old and known bug. Once I found the answer I have completed it every time and helped many others learn to complete it as well.
