New Defiance 2050 Guide (Promoting the Game)
    Howdy!

Instead of spamming this forum further with new topics related to my project I thought it best to make a final thread that I will continue to update as well as respond to suggestions and other feedback.

If you previously skipped my mountain of threads :p I am working on a project to promote Defiance 2050. Setting aside the usual concerns I just love the shooter action and think a lot of other people would give the game a chance with some more information, in many cases any information, about the game. There are three primary prongs to the project:

    1) Weeknight livestreaming. Monday through Friday at 8pm EST I do a livestream on the game. For the past month I've been doing a full playthrough of the Demolitionist Class on Xbox One using Mixer. After I finish the story (I'm almost 5K so if I focus on the story this coming week I should finish up) I will pick a new topic, such as Dalies, Arkfalls, Emergencies or just another full playthrough with a different class. I plan to switch up platforms, both game and streaming, but for now I can be seen here:

    https://mixer.com/Clubside?vod=2r6yyud490u2SQ8KUYaL4Q

I initially wanted to limit play to an hour to give a taste of how much fun even a casual test of the game could be but my usual obsession with power levelling led to an expansion to an hour and a half. I normally run from 7:30pm to 9pm, sometimes start a little later or end later, but I've been consistently live from 8pm-9pm so far.

    2) Lots more video content. There's plenty of video to be found of the game on YouTube, but I wanted to prepare video for the final part of the project and group it all by topic. You can find my videos here:

    https://www.youtube.com/user/hulkercafe

Since I don't have 100 subscribers I can't have a custom channel name so I use that link for now. The actual channel is

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2S...1FyEgRv0o-pEhw

so you can see why I go with the user link :p Anyway, at the moment I have footage from my PC 4K/60fps full playthrough broken up by mission. There's also tons of supplementary footage of every co-op, arena and much more. Ultimately I will take this more mundane reference footage and edit togather a number of sizzle reels to serve as promotional advertising for the game.

    3) Defiance 2050 Guide. Taking inspiration from the printed guides we've known for decades from Brady and Prima, I want there to be a place on the web where anyone curious about the game can see the breadth of content and have a place to turn for more information when they play. The start page on my videogame preservation site, Videogame Pavilion, is here:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/

Ultimately the Guide itself will have a start page and that page will be more of a jumping off point to Gamigo's sites, these forums, excellent resources like Defiance Data and Defiance Wiki, but as the Guide will include hundreds if not thousands of pages I'm using that as a landing page as I finalize my database, editing tools, and static site generator.

Previous threads have focused on particular topics of the project but I'm consolidating here and hope you'll follow me on this journey. I play the game every day and have 5K (or close enough, curse you RNGesus) characters on all three platforms and am happy to help or goof around in-game.

I began this project in November 2019 and have done at least a dozen full playthroughs. I have tons of data to sift through as I approach launch, which will not be complete but a full framework to illustrate the destination. From tips to raw data, video, audio, images and every other element I can put to use to promote the game will be included.

As I type this I am preparing one of the biggest sections in terms of images, Appearance items. I hope to have an update at the end of the day on my progress. In the meantime why not check out this-work-in-progress page of Appearance Combos. Yes, it has a long way to go, but hopefully it shows the depth of my committment to delivering some exciting and detailed promotional material for Defiance 2050.

    Thanks for reading!

It took far longer than I hoped but I finally finished corralling all of the Appearance items in both Defiance and Defiance 2050. I have an "All" page up for now, but am quickly writing out the whole guide structure.

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...ppearance/all/

Once that is done I can stick in Store, Missions, Vendors, Weapons and Pursuits and tie them all together updating the pages to link where needed. In the meantime check things out. I will have pages showing precisely what's in 2050 and what's not in case people want to call out for things to be added to the store. One of the primary ways to monetize is cosmetics, and while that's tough with only Headgear/Outfit, there are some good ones that I think people might like the chance to spend a few Bits on.

I'm still finalizing some details before writing out the rest of the pages and navigation but wanted to share a few examples.

    Here's one with Concept Art:
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...ulanite-miner/

There's a fair amount of great art to track down and link, I've only got a few examples so far but the mechanism is there. Ultimately you'll be able to browse concept art and link to relevant items (NPCs, Enemies, and more).

    Here's one with store previews:
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...egion-samurai/

I hope to have all the details and links done over the weekend so I can have a full aplpha of the Guide before the end of next week. So tired :p

The biggest knot in the web has finally been taken care of and I have pages for every mission in the game up. I will still have the earlier walkthrough format format meant for new players to go from mission group to mission group and the current sample pages will soon be grouped with navigation for that purpose, but they will also inherit the big update this knot unties: reward linking. After I post this I will begin cross-linking currencies, titles, vehicles and other rewards between their detail pages and their relevant unlock pages. So for example if you browse Titles and click on one that is a reward it will offer a link to the appropriate Mission or Pursuit. And from those Mission and Pursuit pages you'll be able to jump to that Title. Once I have finished all the linking I'll also create a page showing all of the unlocks in one place. I often hear in Zone people asking "how do I get a car?" and now there will be a single page where all of those kinds of answers are presented.

The crude table of contents for all of the mission pages is here:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/missions/

I have to rebuild Vehicles, Weapons and Appearance sections. In addition to new items and details I came across some interesting stuff I wanted to consolidate for the community. What they did to vehicles is dumbfounding. I'm hoping once everyone sees it laid to bare we could get a simple scipt tweak to right the ship. More on this in a few hours. Hoping to get a lot done before the Event kicks off today, and still need to decide what I'm gonna stream now that I finished the Demolitionist playthrough.

Still have to update the rest of the section but I have the Vehicle statistics for everyone:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...ehicles/stats/

As you'll see they essentially flattened all the vehicles in 2050 so there is no benefit to using Rollers whatsoever. Not just talking the tin-foil nature of all vehicles when hitting a chicken, but in terms of speeds, except for a few "reward" vehicles, every last one of them is identical. That super fast Challenger? No faster than a Growler.
  • 03-31-2020, 08:43 AM
    ICantAim
Not sure your vehicle stats are good. I use the Duni orange/black, and I outrun pretty much everyone when heading to an arkfall, except the paid vehicles (until I hit something or get stuck into a tree, but that's another story). When I switch to any other of my vehicle I either get left behind or go to the same speed.

Maybe the stats displayed are not realistic compared to the real stats of the vehicles, kinda like the gun stats on the stats cards are boinker.
  • 04-01-2020, 08:36 AM
    clubside
I agree ICantAim, but those are the only stats I have. The fact that there are variations for the reward vehicles means they're not pulling them out of thin air. Other than finding a nice long straightaway and record myself driving each vehicle then count up the times I don't know how best to provide valid differential information like the stats in Defiance allow.

On a happier note I have finished the rewrite of the Vehicles section of the Guide. Other than linking to store and vendor items once they are in place the section is pretty complete.

From the start page you can drill down by class and then type. There are the overview pages for All Vehicles and Statistics. And there are now detail pages for every vehicle. I managed to find some concept art for use here as well. I also have included images from the Defiance Store and/or Vendors where appropriate.

    Fun Examples:
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...nger-rt-black/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...bal-800r-cyan/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...cles/cerberus/

I now have to clean up the Weapons section then I can finally round-robin Missions, Appearance, Weapons, Shields, Grenades and Pursuits. When those are all in place I'll drop in the Defiance Store and Vendor sections for the last round of linking. Despite hundreds of additional pages after that it's essentially cake, the cross-linking has been the biggest bear.

In the promotional front I am livestreaming Armistice 2020 on PS4 pver YouTube. I'm mixing the play between my normal character and a newb to show how this is the perfect time for new players to jump in for the bonus PG.

Interesting note about the livestream, after a month on Mixer with just a few pop-ins from friends, I got a few followers and views on my past streams. First day on YouTube and at one point I had 5 viewers, got chat and even one person joining the stream and playing for an hour. Certainly was less lonely :p

This Event also requires me to rewrite a few sections now that Synergies, Weapons, Grenades, Shields and Mod Fusions aren't unique to a single event.

Weapons is the goal, but to be a true Guide it needs to reflect all the mitigating factors. In this case that means Mods and Weapon Skins. So I'm getting those out of the way so once a weapon page is up it reflects available skins and mods. To this end I have rewritten the Weapon Skins page to no longer be a data dump. Instead the main page shows a preview of each skin type (except Voidrunner which I don't have any examples of) and a list of the weapon groups. So you get a taste of each skin and then have the option to drill down on the skin and see how it looks on each weapon group, or drill down by group to see each skin on that group. Of course I have so few images there are more blanks than previews, but there's enough for a taste.

If you guys get the chance to check these pages out I'd love some feedback, particularly on the size of the thumbnails. I love the big chunky previews, but I'm thinking I could switch to 6 boxes per line from the existing 4 (less on mobile of course) and still have them be big enough to decide what you want to look at.

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/weapon-skins/

I'm also pretty happy with the new header. It's meant to give an idea of what I'll be adding when I have more skins to show: a before/after slider to compare the default skin with one you'd like to see.

Thanks for checking ICantAim. Only writing to modern browsers, haven't thought about IE in at least five years if not longer.

The march toward finishing Weapons and tying everything together is nigh. I have finished rewriting Shields, Grenades and Mods. They are no longer single-page data dumps but are still lacking quality "Guide" text. I got some Snowbombs so that's added, but were there "Pumpkin" grenades at some point?

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/shields/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/grenades/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/mods/

I was on PS4 for nearly six hours with the livestream last night. Playing a new character as well as my regular, I decided to show the benefit to the Recruit Synergy Pack. It's a cheap way to get some Boosts and support the game.

Well, this is the big one. For long-time players it might seem to be a lot of work, but documenting all of the weapons in the game to this level took a lot of work. And I'm not even done, needing to go back and grab 1080p images of the Enhance Weapon screen for most (anything above 1080p and there are text overwriting issues, and I wanted the 4K detail for the images) plus a bunch of other fun bits I have planned for these pages that will take some time (and luck) to put together. Anyway the start page is here:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/weapons/

I still have to put together the standalone Primes and Prototypes pages as well as integrate Primes into the standard pages but for now you can drill down on Weapon Class, Type and Sub-Type. Once you get to an individual Weapon page that's where the fun starts. Two good examples (because they both have Concept Art, and a bunch of Skins for the Magnum):

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...eapons/magnum/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...ns/eshkizhiwa/

I am beat from long days so I'm off for some sleep but once I'm up I will finish up these pages to the point I had planned for launch. Then it's time to pull everything together and get the initial version of the Guide tidied up for its release.

Ok, need more sleep but I've finished with the updates to the Weapons pages and missing pages have been added:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...ns/prototypes/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...eapons/primes/

The big "pointing to the endgame" page is the previously referenced Magnum page:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...eapons/magnum/

You'll find Views which show how the screen appears depending on whether you're zoomed and/or have a scope. You'll also see variations of the weapon model based on installed mods. This section will require a lot of work to compile all of the variations but I think it looks interesting. Adding a model viewer is the ultimate goal.

After getting some sleep I will link in Missions, add the Pursuits and Enemy Group pages and link all of them. Reverse linking the Missions and marking when the Weapons become available from the Supplies Vendor will be after that.

I got a couple more sections up, a brief one for Nano Effects:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/nano-effects/

And one that I forgot would require a fair bit of coding due to special markup for embedded blockquotes. I also made sure to include a fair amount of concept art:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/enemy-groups/

Of particular note a the Volge being called "Vulge" for a time, Scrappers being Intellitons and the Grid were "Modunauts". Definitely want to explore more of how the lore evolved during development but check those pages for close to final looks despite different names.

Getting real close to the big LINK phase :p I have updated the Appearance section with a ton of pages in addition to the ones that were there. Now available are master pages for the entire section plus Titles, Headgear and Outfits. The three item types have an All and Data page to list items from both games where the master pages show only 2050 items that I'm aware of.

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/appearance/

This is the first time I've put up pages that show thumbnails of all Headgear and Outfits in a grid so you really get a sense of all the options.

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...ance/headgear/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...rance/outfits/

I have to put together the Bundles and Competitive pages and do some tweaking of the previous data but the big takeaway is there are now individual pages for Titles, Headgear and Outfits which was the last piece needed to link Rewards back to Missions and Pursuits. I'll still have Packs to deal with and I'm still trying to sort out the "exclusive tint" options (I have purchased each pack at least once on some platform but as I purchased multiple I have to winnow the wheat from the chaff in my inventory).

Have my weeknight livestream in about an hour but hope to finish this stuff up tonight so tomorrow can be all about the linking. Coming out the other side of this part of the process is the biggest hurdle to launching the Guide. Taking the time to write *cough* thoughtful *cough* prose about everything will be cake compared to all of this.

The first step is done, woo hoo!

I have all Pursuits linked to their respective rewards and you can now see every possible reward on a sinle page!

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...oals/pursuits/

These all link back to the respective items for full details.

The bonus is the new Rewards page which will show all unlockable in the game. At the moment it's only showing Pursuits of course:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/rewards/

Next I have to add Rewards for Missions. After those pages are done I will update the master Rewards page and then reverse link the rewards from their items so if you're browsing Outfits for example you could jump to the Pursuit and see the requirements.

After that's done all that's left are the Vendor items starting with the Commendation Quartermaster. I'll then need to finally import all of the Vendor lists so they can be linked as well.

Big hurdle out of the way, almost time to stream!

Man did that take long :p

I have finished updating every Mission with linked rewards:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/missions/

    A good example:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...of-the-matter/

The only problem there is I don't have the Intel page up yet :)

I also updated the general Rewards page to reflect every unlockable from Missions and Pursuits:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/rewards/

That page still needs the items you can get from Vendors with Rep but I still need to figure out how/if to include Weapon Skins as they are random and I don't think it'd be appropriate to list every single Skin. I'll probably just stick with the Commendation Quartermaster items though that raises a question about the ones listed as I've seen three variations (one with no unlockable Appearance Items).

I have finished the back-linking so you can round-robin Missions, Pursuits, Appearance Items and Vehicles. All that's left is the Store/Vendors. I have rewritten both Appearance and Vehicles to use a standard layout, and fillede in the missing pages of Appearance:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/appearance/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/vehicles/

I'm hoping to finish up the Store and other pages tomorrow or Sunday at the latest so I can have a first release Monday morning.

Almost all linking is done. Yes, the big boys of Defiance Store and Vendors remain but I got a ton of stuff done.

The major item pages have all been reworked to follow patterns and link everything. That means Pursuits, Contracts, Missions, Events, Packs, Vendors, Weapons, Vehicles, Appearance Items and more now link to each other. If an outfit comes from a pack, is available in the store or from a pursuit or all three the links are right there. So revisiting those sections will reveal a lot more information.

As seen in the previous paragraph a bunch of new items are up. Some are just extensions on existing pages like Events, but new ones include Packs:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/packs/

I think I got everything right except for Voidrunner. Since I don't own it I guessed at the two additional mods and how the skins worked.

Contracts are now added to Goals:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...als/contracts/

Each Faction has a drill-down to all of the Contracts I've captured so far. Later today I will update them with the Paradise Territory ones for the two Events that started today. Because I implemented Contracts this was I will be able to offer a new feature starting tomorrow: Active Contracts on the start page. yes, I will overhaul the start page on the site that sits above the Guide:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/

The new version will sow the active Contracts running on the PC version (they're usually identical across platforms but I've seen aberrations) along with a Table of Contents that updates as pages are added/changed. I will track Contracts over time and hope we can pull some fun statistics.

Hope to pull a lot of things together tomorrow, but for now I have to get ready for my weeknight stream. I'm doing Armistice 2020 on PS4 through YouTube so you can catch me here:

Just a quick update. While adding today's contracts I reworked the whole page to be more compact. As I finish up the Defiance Store pages I'm transitioning to an all image grid reward list from the current text plus grid format. It looks cleaner, no redundant information, and previously unlinked items can now be linked.

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/

Most Store pages are done but I'm doing another pass while finishing the remaining few to fit the new style:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...efiance-store/

After I finish that I hope to knock out Vendors today. Then I'll redo the previous pages with rewards to match the new style and the major linking will be done. A few more sections to write out and all initial data will be in place and viewable. Whew!

Just a quick update as I get the full site map in place. Though I doubt anyone else uses it or even finds it interesting I've been updating Contracts daily. For me I have my tablet when paying on console so I can reference the contracts without constantly pulling up the screen in-game. Extra work for extra laziness :p

I have placeholders and sometimes more for all of the Radial Menu plus the Quick Menu and Classes:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/quick-menu/
    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/classes/

I have also finally standardized on a style for the headers and am pretty happy. You'll see them sprinkled through the site and will update pages as I get the chance. Like this one for Crusader:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...der-header.jpg

And this one from the mission Sniper's Ridge:

Thanks RJR35! And I promise no necro ICantAim!

I just added the section on NPCs. It still has to be linked to a bunch of stuff but it took quite some time to make all the images so I wanted to share:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/npcs/

I used the official guide's style as inspiration but since they're missing loads of NPCs I didn't want to just use their images. I hope to link in the Concept Art in a bit, just need a break for another livestream.

I'm happy with how all of the headers turned out but I like this one of Rosa a lot:

While I still have a bunch of sections to add I just finished the last major piece of art so that'll mean I can get through the rest fairly quickly. The art in question is related to the various species in the game. I'm not sure how to handle some of this so for now I have the Humans and Votans (minus the Volge as you'll read):

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/species/

I made a group shot of the species for the main header. Wish I had some Gulanee concept art, clipping Dekuso was a pain and didn't turn out that great :(

I've updated NPCs with related concept art and taken this opportunity to drop a basic Concept Art page. You'' find all of the art I've grabbed so far regardless of a link to an in-game object. I will add ways to explore it a bit later:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/concept-art/

The big news is I'm almost ready to link the biggest single chunk of groups, Activities. The page husks are in place and hope to finish up the section tonight. Have a livestream to get to now!

Just a quick addition to my last post, I've finished with the Concept Art page for now. After adding in a few more I had on hand but hadn't linked I'm over 100 unique pieces by 11 different artists. The alternate concept for EGO from Hethe Srodawa is wacky...especially the bunny ears version :p

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...hethe-srodawa/

Do you have links for other concept art? There's still a few dozen pieces I have on hand that have to be added to the database but would like to build as full of a set as possible!

Activities is now in a place where I can add some actual Guide text. In addition to a whole batch of fresh headers, the related videos I've already uploaded to YouTube are now on the pages including some Arkfalls, Challenges and all the Co-ops. I've got a big batch left to upload from the PC 4K collection before I get to editing the hundreds of hours of console footage. I've also linked in game asset banners and loadscreens where available like here:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/...he-motherlode/

Now for a question: anyone have experience with 3D model viewing? I'd like to put models from the game on appropriate pages for pewople to play with but all the solutions I've tried don't load textures so they're just shaded gray. I know the models are good as they load into both Microsoft 3D and Blender with textures just fine. I'm waiting on a support ticket for one solution but I'd prefer not to use them as they have to be the host. None of the local hosting options I've tried have any obvious support contacts. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

We're in the home stretch, I'm starting to code editors for all of the modules so I can stop futzing with my spreadsheets and databases directly and do as much in the browser from here on out as possible!

I have a stupid question. Did the promotion help... And if so, who?

Hey Andy, I guess there's no easy answer. I could use the metrics from my YouTube and Mixer channels and Google Analytics of my site, all of which are steadily rising since I began promoting the project, but what does that tell me? Hopefully there's useful information for existing players and some are checking my facts, so who knows what percentage is curious gamers who might be considering trying the game. The game has had a consistent churn since I started playing, and being on every day across platforms for months I notice new players, and old players with new characters. As I don't lurk in Mount Tam like some Clan leaders I really don't know if the numbers have changed positively or negatively.

Ultimately the promotion is supposed to help the game in general. Whether that results in more dollars in Gamigo's pockets is not my concern. I just enjoy the game and believe the bad taste left by the original game for some, the low-key launch of 2050, continuing problems with the games before and after Gamigo's acquisition of Trion and other factors have kept many shooter fans from giving the game a try.

Right now developing the Guide and running Livestreams is just prep work for the real promotional work. It's gonna take even more work to take the raw materials and juice them into sizzle reels and actual promotional materials. Still won't be able to measure success from my end, but at least at that point I'll have finished what I started.

As long as I'm here I have an update on the Class pages. I have full Ability Trees and every Power and Perk and Level listed now:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/classes/

I'm about to cross-link Store and Pack items and then I'll be done with this section until I have the time to start writing Guide text.

I have another question: at some point I will have a Loadout Builder where you can choose all the items you have access to on your Character Screen on the site, package them up and write about why you made this particular combination and what its advantages are. The question is will that work, or should I have separate builders for Classes, Synergies and Weapons?

I've been quiet because it took a long time to get enough of this update ready for a reveal. I had always planned to include a way to view the actual 3D models from the game alongside static images and other information. Though far from complete and with a few caveats there's enough up now for me to share!

At this point there are select Vehicle models, models for all of the currently listed NPCs plus loads of appearance items. If there is a 3D model available it is right there on the page and you can interact with it or just leave it to rotate. An example of a detailed Appearance Item page would be Infantry Veteran as it has a Store Page, Pursuit link and other stuff along with the model:

    A vehicle example:

    And an NPC:

As for caveats, I'm working with raw object data, no skeletons or animations. And there are no obvious overlay textures for character skin, eye or hair colors or regular vehicles. Over time hopefully I can get additional stuff but for now I'm focused on getting all the models as I have them converted and exported and then attached to the appropriate pages.

I'll have more to this update later today including plans for a "State of the Game" version of my weeknight livestream starting tonight.

Thanks Crixus! I hope to get a lot more done next week, distracted with building tools.

I have updated the main page with links to various sections that are in progress as well as a reminder you'll find the latest Contracts there updated every day:

The biggest new addition is certainly Intel. Still have a lot to transcribe but at least it's a decent enough preview of how I'm handling things a bit different than other sites:

Thanks NAS! The updates are coming a lot slower lately as I work on tools but I'm making sure the Contracts are updated every day at

I hope to have a big update next week.

I have some more Weapon Skins up, getting close to finishing all of Zealt!

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/guide/weapon-skins/

I could really use help with this part of the project. All I need are screenshots either shared on some public service or PM me for a way to send them directly. For console players nothing special is required but on PC you must be in 1080p, 1920x1080. Any other resolution will clip the image. Thanks!

Wow. I think you've done amazing work here and the fact you are coding together your own tools for this deserves serious props. Keep up the amazing work.

    Thanks MONKEYKING!

I hope to have a big update at the end of the week. I'm almost finished with the tools that'll make it easier for me to enter Guide information as opposed to the raw data that the site mostly serves at the moment. Of course after this update it'll be a slog as I transcribe every cutscene and recorder as I work through advice on the various parts of the game.

Still busy with tools but just for fun I threw on some charts about Dailies on the start page:

    http://vgpavilion.com/defiance-2050/

Not sure how representative of RNGesus this is but it's still kind of fun. I started tracking a month and a half ago so there's already plenty of data. Here's an example:
