I highly doubt this happened recently especially in light of the fact that our members rarely queue for co-ops without a full group of unit members. Additionally, it is not possible for anyone or any group of players to kick people from co-op maps. There exists no mechanism in the game which gives players in co-ops this power over other players.

However, about six weeks ago we ran into some issues with a particular clique of members doing this but they were all booted from the unit (about 8 players in total).

That type of behavior is in violation of our Code of Conduct (paragraphs 3 and 6). Please PM the names of any individuals who do this and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

For reference, our Code of Conduct:

    Quote:

    Code of Conduct

I am a Terran, fighting in the forces which guard my Empire and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.

    II

I will never harass or insult other players or through inaction allow another Legionary to harass or insult other players. If in command, I will never allow the Legionaries of my command to harass or insult other players.

    III

I will never exploit, hack, or otherwise cheat or through inaction allow another Legionary to exploit, hack, or otherwise cheat. If in command, I will never allow the Legionaries of my command to exploit, hack, or otherwise cheat.

    IV

I will never disrespect another Legionary in-game, in VOIP, or on the forums or through inaction allow another Legionary to be disrespected. If in command, I will never allow the Legionaries of my command to disrespect another Legionary in-game, in VOIP, or on the forums.

    V

When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am required to give name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies or harmful to their cause.

    VI

I will never forget that I am a Terran, fighting for freedom, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my Empire free. I will trust in the Terran Empire, the Imperial Armed Forces, and the 47th Legion.

I thought you had to actually queue as a group to be grouped inside of a co-op? The few times I've PUG'd a co-op I never had any group menus or any overlays for other players inside of the co-op.

As mentioned earlier, I do apologize for the behavior. Unless you can name anyone specifically all I can do is remind my joes at our next op that the 47th doesn't allow that.

I never was able to figure out how system works .. but perhaps if full group join co-op and one member was disconnected - system allows random person to join the co-op.

@Jmeach - were you playing the map from the very beginning or you joined in the middle of the map ?

    @ Jmeach

I asked on our forum if anyone recognized the names "Jmeach" or "FAKECHOW."

You kept queuing for a co-op while a 47th group was waiting for a D/C'd member to reconnect. They were attempting to finish a pursuit for that particular member.

Mystery solved. I see that you're a member of CORE. They should have plenty of players to group up with for co-ops.

A few of us got caught in the Co-op merry go 'round last week. Lost a guildie on the way in, but we asked the unguilded random who joined early if he/she would re-queue and they were very polite about it.

Unfortunately, Defiance then decided that there was no way in hell we were going to finish that co-op together and kept kicking us out early.
