For players getting this for xbox.
Who plans on hooking up a keyboard so they can communicate more efficiently. This is one of my biggest console concerns is that there will be a lack of communication because chat communication isn't something most most console only gamer's are used too.

I know I for one well be taking my spare computer keyboard and hooking it up to my x-box. Hopefully everyone else ends up doing this as well, lack of communication stinks.

I would think the mic or at least chat pad would be the better option. I know for me I'm not planning on setting control down for anything.

Actually, many people may go in blind but they'll adapt quickly. On DCUO for ps3 no one complained about the text feature and everyone adapted to it. The weird thing was that there was voice chat for proximity, group, and guild yet only guild chat ever had voice users.

In my experience more people use mics on 360 than PS3. They may not talk but at least most have the mic plugged in.

that's a kinect user, you can turn off the mic but it still shows up like you have it on

Just be glad there won't be video chat....

Joking of course but obviously small breaks will be necessary.

Yup, main reason I'm getting this on Xbox, but still keeping keyboard on hand.
