I had a friend who was into Dubstep, then some one told him: "I don't listen to the disco of our generation." when he asked if they were into Dubstep. He has since retreated from such musical tastes, of course to each their own. :D

Your spacing of duhs doesn't sync up with either, though. Then again people interpret things differently, so maybe you are referring to one or the other.
Besides those, the only one near that echelon that comes to mind is the Final Fantasy fanfare... and I'd wager a lot more people know the Mario/Zelda tune than that.
It sure doesn't seem like Pac-Man or Donkey Kongs' arcade startup music, either. The only other thing I can think of might be one of the Tetris tracks.
At the moment, yeah, it's a few years old. But it's an awesome song.
